This probably belongs in the American Insanity thread.

    Cringeworthy.

Looks like Joe Biden is making the wrong people unhappy.

His support of Ukraine is luke-warm. Neo-cons want some heat.

    Kamala?

    Guess we wait and see.

Starting to look like pressure to get Joe to turn up the heat for war support.

Be a good boy and the DOJ will declare "nothing to see here."

    That was bizarre...

Anyway, I think what we may be seeing here is old Sleepy Joe having served out his usefulness to the minders. Buh bye - We'll see who they choose to elevate next, and I can't imagine it would be the ditzy second in "command".

    Cool

Of all the guitarists that have influenced me over the years — and they are legion — Steve Lukather is the one whose influence on my playing has probably been lingering the longest. Not only is he known for being the guitarist and — since the untimely death of Jeff Porcaro — bandleader of Toto, as well as that he has released several solo albums, but he also has a very long career behind him as a session musician, working with well over a thousand different artists and bands, from Boz Scaggs and Steely Dan, over Michael Jackson, Lionel Ritchie, Don Henley, Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, Olivia Newton-John and many others, all the way to working with his boyhood idols Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

And of course, Rick Beato is himself also not unknown around this neck of the woods, as Gio posted many of his videos on the Cosmic Emporium thread. But Gio has retired, and out of respect, I will not reopen the Emporium, which is why I think the Tent is a good place to drop this off. The duration is 1 hour and 22 minutes. Enjoy!

Biden allows Abrams tanks to be released.

Mike Pence has classified docs too. Everybody does it.

    Nothing to see here.

    For now.

I'm wondering about that as well. Is it just presidents and vice presidents, or does it spill over into the other branches of government as well?

And exactly what are we talking about here with "classified documents"? Are we talking nuclear code level (which I highly doubt), what time said person was to depart for Camp David in June of 2015, or something in between?

Leaving it up to the imagination conjures up, well, just about anything. Maybe that's the ultimate purpose of this little exercise hmmm? Keep 'em murmering out there. Who knows. Strange days.

    Remember Sandy "Burglar" Berger?

Sandy Berger Hid Stolen Archive Documents

It appears that Sandy Berger’s crimes are more serious than initially reported.

Former national security adviser Sandy Berger removed classified documents from the National Archives in 2003 and hid them under a construction trailer, the Archives inspector general reported Wednesday. The report was issued more than a year after Berger pleaded guilty and received a criminal sentence for removal of the documents.

Inspector General Paul Brachfeld reported that when Berger was confronted by Archives officials about the missing documents, he said it was possible he threw them in his office trash. The report said that when Archives employees first suspected that Berger – who had been President Clinton’s national security adviser – was removing classified documents from the Archives in the fall of 2003, they failed to notify any law enforcement agency.

    […]

The report said that when Berger was reviewing the classified documents in the Archives building a few blocks from the Capitol, employees saw him bending down and fiddling with something white, which could have been paper, around his ankle. However, Archives employees did not feel at the time there was enough information to confront someone of Berger’s stature, the report said.

Brachfeld reported that on one visit, Berger took a break to go outside without an escort. “In total, during this visit, he removed four documents. Mr. Berger said he placed the documents under a trailer in an accessible construction area outside Archives 1 (the main Archives building).” Berger acknowledged that he later retrieved the documents from the construction area and returned with them to his office.

Rather clearly, this wasn’t a spur-of-the moment decision on Berger’s part to snatch documents but rather a premeditated act. And it’s one for which any military or civil service employee would be in jail.

I've become almost instantly impressed with the holistic manner in which Garland Nixon is able to break down world events, right up there with the likes of John Mearsheimer and Alexander Mercouris. This is the type of clear eyed view The Narrative seeks to stifle. If it gets out, if this genie ever gets free of the bottle to man on the street level, it's "Katie bar the door time" for this failing rules based international order:

    That was a surprise.

To be generous to him let me say that I was a bit of an asshole at 45 too.
