The above video was from yesterday, Oct. 22.

I will use the same commentator to present his recap of today, Oct. 23, day two of the BRICS summit.

Sebastion keeps things brief and has a pleasant demeanor and delivery.

    Thanks for posting ...

It's been almost eighteen years since the financial crash of 2008 when the BRICS intergovernmental organization first started coming about and meeting up... And believe it or not I support that fully... Especially today seeing how the Geo-global situation is obviously heading towards a another great divide (the new cold war), with de-globalization in retreat and likely decline. I can see nothing wrong with an alternative financial system that promotes better conditions and opportunities for nations to co-exist and compete along side the G7 group of nations.

    Afterall fair is fair.

Will share this here, since this is in Rad's region ...

Dr. Eric Berg DC is a nutritionist and a author I've been following for years now, but was taken back when he recently post this very different and alarming video content concerning the aftermath and conditions left from the recent hurricane that impacted this isolated region here in the United States.

When disaster strikes, community rises. We’re switching things up—taking an eye-opening look at what’s currently happening in North Carolina as flood victims struggle to rebuild what was lost. Learn how you can help restore hope and make a real impact in North Carolina.

We’re taking a closer look at the aftermath of the recent catastrophic floods in North Carolina, a crisis that has left many homeless and without hope. Join me as I speak with Bill St. Pierre, who witnessed firsthand the devastation in communities hit by this disaster.

Bill shares his experience of traveling to the area with an excavator and seeing entire towns submerged—homes destroyed, roads impassable, and essential services overwhelmed. While FEMA and the Red Cross have provided some support, many families have received little to no help, struggling with inadequate aid and crushing expenses.

Some survivors are being offered just a fraction of what they need to rebuild—$3,000 for a family that needs at least $200,000, and even those receiving the maximum FEMA check are left with a fraction of the funds required to start the cleanup. As Bill explains, the system is broken, and many are being left to fend for themselves.

Bill and other volunteers are donating their time, money, and resources to rebuild homes from the ground up. And you can help, too! We’re raising funds to support these efforts, from clearing debris to building new homes for families who lost everything.

If you want to make a real difference in their lives, please consider donating to the GoFundMe that is linked above. Every dollar counts, and together, we can help these families rebuild.

I found this role playing video entertaining so let's see how it goes over in the tent.

In this week’s episode of “Playing President,” Ray McGovern, 27-year CIA veteran and briefer of five presidents, continues to make sense of the world to “President” Scheer, who prepared for this role through his decades as a journalist, including in-depth interviews with five presidents from Nixon to Clinton. In the universe of “Playing President,” however, Scheer is not a journalist, but instead plays the President of the United States attempting to navigate the geopolitical landscape of governance and media with the help of his trusty daily briefer from the CIA, Ray McGovern.

A couple of things I noticed:

    - First and foremost, it was fun. Ray did a great job at staying in character, only a couple of times did he almost let it slip, and "President Scheer" played a great Joe Biden. Only thing missing really was a nice pair of aviators.

    - Little skits like that would also be a fun way to introduce a bit of backroom substance to low information people, or those with heads full of mainstream narrative "information".

    - And lastly, I get the strange feeling I was just privy to Biden at confession.
The unexamined life is not worth living.

Hellooooooooo, bein such a joyous camper these last few moons, i feel to share a post just read, feel as young n old eye across the tent n outer views, such a post may source a tomorrows thought, tisa harsh smile typa share but glad n sad in it's truth-s.

    29 July 2019 ·
When an old man died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home in an Australian country town, it was believed that he had nothing left of any value.
Later, when the nurses were going through his meagre possessions, they found this poem. Its quality and content so impressed the staff that copies were made and distributed to every nurse in the hospital.
One nurse took her copy to Melbourne .. The old man's sole bequest to posterity has since appeared in the Christmas editions of magazines around the country and appearing in mags for Mental Health. A slide presentation has also been made based on his simple, but eloquent, poem.
And this old man, with nothing left to give to the world, is now the author of this 'anonymous' poem winging across the Internet.

    Cranky Old Man.....
What do you see nurses? . . .. . .What do you see?
What are you thinking .. . when you're looking at me?
    A cranky old man, . . . . . .not very wise,
    Uncertain of habit .. . . . . . . .. with faraway eyes?
Who dribbles his food .. . ... . . and makes no reply.
When you say in a loud voice . .'I do wish you'd try!'
Who seems not to notice . . .the things that you do.
    And forever is losing . . . . . .. . . A sock or shoe?
Who, resisting or not . . . ... lets you do as you will,
With bathing and feeding . . . .The long day to fill?
Is that what you're thinking?. .Is that what you see?
Then open your eyes, nurse .you're not looking at me.
    I'll tell you who I am . . . . .. As I sit here so still,
As I do at your bidding, .. . . . as I eat at your will.
I'm a small child of Ten . .with a father and mother,
    Brothers and sisters .. . . .. . who love one another
A young boy of Sixteen . . . .. with wings on his feet
    Dreaming that soon now . . .. . . a lover he'll meet.
A groom soon at Twenty . . . ..my heart gives a leap.
Remembering, the vows .. .. .that I promised to keep.
    At Twenty-Five, now . . . . .I have young of my own.
Who need me to guide . . . And a secure happy home.
    A man of Thirty . .. . . . . My young now grown fast,
Bound to each other . . .. With ties that should last.
At Forty, my young sons .. .have grown and are gone,
But my woman is beside me . . to see I don't mourn.
At Fifty, once more, .. ...Babies play 'round my knee,
Again, we know children . . . . My loved one and me.
Dark days are upon me . . . . My wife is now dead.
    I look at the future ... . . . . I shudder with dread.
For my young are all rearing .. . . young of their own.
And I think of the years . . . And the love that I've known.
    I'm now an old man . . . . . . .. and nature is cruel.
    It's jest to make old age . . . . . . . look like a fool.
The body, it crumbles .. .. . grace and vigour, depart.
    There is now a stone . . . where I once had a heart.
But inside this old carcass . A young man still dwells,
And now and again . . . . . my battered heart swells
    I remember the joys . . . . .. . I remember the pain.
    And I'm loving and living . . . . . . . life over again.
I think of the years, all too few . . .. gone too fast.
And accept the stark fact . . . that nothing can last.
    So open your eyes, people .. . . . .. . . open and see.
Not a cranky old man .
    Look closer . . . . see .. .. . .. . ME!!
Remember this poem when you next meet an older person who you might brush aside without looking at the young soul within ... . . .
we will all, one day, be there, too!
    PLEASE SHARE THIS POEM

Alex Krainer is an economist with an understanding of the history of how power/money underlies geo-politics. This talk was far more interesting than I expected.
