    New word to ponder. Banalysis

That would be analyzing, the banal.

Of course, what is to be deemed banal is a judgement call. Though, 'discernment call' would hold up better to banalysis.

The last 3 days I have been doing a job for a well known local soap opera that has been running in NZ for 25 or so years.
It has been 4 years since I last did a bit for them. In doing so it has reminded me of a consideration which can be told from a horses mouth.

As one of the pieces in the set, it may be worth delineating the dynamic of fiction within a soap opera, as opposed to the fiction in a trilogy fantasy feature film.
A certain cross over can be made but here is the ingredients.

    Make-up and hair.
    Wardrobe.
    Script.
    Set dressing decor style.
    Set design and flavouring.
Movement direction, favoured edited motion turn always to ones best side.
Reduction of detail through cameras and broadcast.

If I could speak to the impressionable and walk them through the fakery and distortion of their idols.
The words come out like silk across the room, perfect reactions, no buts and ums.
The clothes are to die for. The hair is perfect and the skin flawless.
Even when the make-up doesn't hide those deep scars across the bridge of her nose, the camera will remove it.
    Spotless and perfect.
Causing the anxiety of the viewer to be as cool, calm, and collected.
Creating desires to have and be, which are completely and utterly fabricated by experts just doing their best to fulfil their brief.
Do you have a team of people to powder your buttocks and gift you the gab?
The shortfalls and jealousy sets in motion people who will act to become people who don't actually exist.
Feeling like they still don't measure up, to all those well placed ornaments and designer colours.
Never seeing the big nose or lazy eye for the director will ask for the good side to take precedence.
The aspirations to measure up, can lead to choices to foot the bill for their search for that dream.
I wish I could make this clear to the victims of fashion. Shatter their illusion.
The 3 sided screens to look like mansions.
The fact that it all rolls away against the wall and the other mansion sits half on top of the first one, because they are actually, doing it all on the cheap.

Back in my weed smoking days, I noticed that it and it became kind of a niggling obsession that I waited and hoped to see change...Crazy...

You make me think of the 'popular kids' in school. They always seemed like they were having the most fun, were the most well-liked, had the best lives. It took me a long time to figure out how much of that was illusion. How many of the smiles and the friendships were fake. Many people end up living fake lives.

I decided as an adolescent that I didn't want to be fake.

    I didn't become popular.

Fresh text content eludes me somewhat but, a picture with a few words can speak volumes. It is my intent to keep this thread fresh and 'fed' daily.

I liked the galaxy pictured and do wish the archontic binary code was not used as a backdrop. The hologram of Reality is not a binary one. It is triune.

In a world of chaos there are those of us, that would be myself included with increasing others, experiencing great inner peace and constant small blessings and mini-miracles in our lives. Like the Creator is winking at us. I was wondering if others here are having similar experiences in their lives.

yes, but I'm cheating...I never believe what is going on around me...I just try to stay positive and remain open to blessings...
