Lookee here, some sanity peeps through the cracks of the outhouse. Change.Org has a petition to recall the insane McCain.

Energies are picking up and it is creating a "stirring". People who had been dormant are re-emerging. Forums will be humming. They already are "stirring".

I deliberately planted one at the corner of our driveway before knowing it was an invasive. It's grown quite large but doesn't produce flowers and the resulting pods very profusely. It has to reach for the light due to the many large Oaks around it. I haven't had any seedlings yet.

In New England, they're popular. I have a family member who had one tall, graceful, single trunk tree in their yard. When the seedlings came up they'd let them grow to a certain height, pot them, and then sell them at the garden show.

There are so many kinds of weeds here they're fighting each other for space.

The flowers are tiny, under the leaves, and each pod has several seeds and each stem has several pods so each plant has the potential of producing thousands of seeds, the eventuality of which has become the bane of my existence.

There are numerous varieties, and the one I have, in my climate, lives from Feb until Dec. I spend a half hour to an hour each day dealing with it, as the only method of control is manual removal. Don't drop it on the ground, as it will re root itself where it lands, I have to separate the root and stem and leaves to insure its demise.

I got the wrong plant. The leaves are similar but it's not the same. But I have many fast growing, crowd out natives, climb over everything weeds around.

I found this both interesting and amusing in a dark way. This will probably be the first of more from this source on youtube, Aeon Bytes Gnostic Radio. They left out a personal horrible favorite of mine when the Hebrews entertained Jehovah/Yaldaboath in the Tent of Meeting. I do not remember the body count of that day but, it was few hundred. A slow day for Jehovah.

Miguel Conner just did a show on THC. I was planning on looking up his podcast, today.

    Well, I'm back.

It's been 2 years since I've left the forums to which I had belonged...two years of change and growth and doing and being. Until now.

A couple of weeks ago, out of 'nowhere' (somewhere?), I had an urge to peek into TOT...an urge that grew to feel more like I was being called back. So here I am...a little older and hopefully a little wiser than when I left.

It's good to see some old friends and looking forward to making new ones.

    ~Mel

    Thank you, PL!

Love the feel of the forum so far. So different than when I left. More like a tribe than a hierarchy.

Thank you for the warm welcome, dreamtimer!

The first place I visited was the tent, Hrad. Had to make sure it was still here, still comfy and cosy, and still 'home'. It's hard to forget the many enjoyable conversations had here, and look forward once again to many more. Maybe even a quest with the wiz (staff in hand and raised, with robes billowing in the wind) for old times sake? HaHa.

So, we have all been great people in some life or another. The kicker is, we don't have to live up to an idea we have of some other life. We have to live up to our imagination, right here and now. Who has the gumption?
