I want to make this absolutely clear: autism is a neurodevelopmental condition—not a disease or illness—and it cannot be "healed" or "cured." Claims suggesting otherwise are not only scientifically inaccurate but also contribute to harmful stigma against autistic individuals.

As a parent of two children with autism—my son and daughter—I can tell you firsthand that this kind of thinking is not only wrong, it’s deeply offensive. Promoting the idea that autism needs to be "fixed" is rooted in misunderstanding and does real harm to autistic people and their families.

Believing in so-called "healing" methods for autism shows just how far down the rabbit hole of misinformation and pseudoscience one can fall. At that point, it becomes difficult to separate fact from fiction—and that’s dangerous, both to yourself and to others who may be vulnerable to these ideas.
