Anthony Beckett, the producer of the Annual British Exopolitics conferences introduces the broad concepts to be discussed at the Secrets of the Solar System conference (5th Annual British Exopolitics Expo). Looking at the scientific evidence that demonstrates that, according to the application of the scientific method, extraterrestrial life has been demonstrated to exist, and that it is the dogmatic views and beliefs that hold back it's wider acceptance.
Anthony discusses the implications that the current evidence of extraterrestrial life means for the search for other habitable worlds and the ongoing discovery of Exoplanets. Additionally he looks at mainstream science and the search for extraterrestrial intelligences, demonstrating by example of the claims of artificial constructs in the rings of Saturn, that searching for artificial constructs are beyond the philosophical ability of science alone to deal with.
