“This Week”...

- Dr. David Weldon’s nomination for CDC director was pulled by the White House — likely a “power play” by members of congress with vested interest in Big Pharma. Lobbyists on Capitol Hill are working harder than ever to undermine the MAHA agenda.

- Several “vaccine hesitancy” research grants are set to be pulled by the NIH. While some are panicking about the news, others are optimistic that the money can be better spent on creating safe and effective products.
- The measles outbreak is assumed to be escalating, according to mainstream media reports . And the push for MMR vaccination continues to intensify. Is this just fear-mongering or a situation of real concern?
- A roundtable commission has been established in America with plans to get to the bottom of health epidemics through collaboration and conversation. Mary Holland responds to this news with great anticipation and excitement: “It is going to awaken the country in a way that has never been done before.”
- Merck’s HPV immunization is known to have severe adverse reactions, but justice for the injured recipients of these risky injections has yet to be served. Until the court rules on these victims’ behalf, the fight continues.
- Some are alleging that cuts to USAID will lead to the proliferation of dangerous infectious diseases. Yet others argue that financial support to gain of function research is the exact means by which pandemics have ample opportunity to emerge.
- Should animals be vaccinated for bird flu? Several organizations are saying “no,” concerned that immunizing during a pandemic is like playing with fire — a reckless and possibly catastrophic operation.
- The Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) label can be used by the food industry as a “loophole” for circumventing regulatory oversight over chemical additives. But leaders, like RFK Jr., are seeking to eliminate this program and provide consumers with ethical labeling.
