It doesn't have anything to do with capitalism in and of itself, and certainly not with saving the planet, nor with Jews versus Muslims. Israel is important to the US Empire because it's the Empire's military stronghold in the Middle East. That's all there is to it.

Of course, one could also posit that there is somewhat of an Imperial preference for Jews over Muslims, given that many Americans and many American politicians are Jewish. But the military perspective is the one that determines the Empire's unconditional support for Israel.

Part of the dynamic has more to do with the NeoLib side of Biden, which is not what gets ridiculed. The excuses of allying with them (beyond the bases and the intelligence tech produced by their occupation) is to legitimize the Empire and our ways/history.
