What is interesting is that I once read that some 'scientists' believe the reason modern man became the apex predator was his ability to kill with impunity and at the same time rally fellow humans to the cause. More recently, a 'researcher' demonstrated the success of the 'Scythians', 'Rus', 'Mongols', and 'Yamnaya' were overwhelmingly successful for that very reason.

Story of most murderous people of all time revealed in ancient DNA
Starting 5000 years ago, the Yamnaya embarked on a violent conquest of Europe. Now genetic analysis tells their tale for the first time

THE iconic sarsen stones at Stonehenge were erected some 4500 years ago. Although the monument’s original purpose is still disputed, we now know that within a few centuries it became a memorial to a vanished people. By then, almost every Briton, from the south coast of England to the north-east tip of Scotland, had been wiped out by incomers. It isn’t clear exactly why they disappeared so rapidly. But a picture of the people who replaced them is emerging.

The migrants’ ultimate source was a group of livestock herders (livestock which included horses: me) called the Yamnaya who occupied the Eurasian steppe north of the Black Sea and the Caucasus mountains. Britain wasn’t their only destination. Between 5000 and 4000 years ago, the Yamnaya and their descendants colonised swathes of Europe, leaving a genetic legacy that persists to this day. Their arrival coincided with profound social and cultural changes. Burial practices shifted dramatically, a warrior class appeared, and there seems to have been a sharp upsurge in lethal violence. “I’ve become increasingly convinced there must have been a kind of genocide,” says Kristian Kristiansen at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. As he and others piece together the story, one question resounds: were the Yamnaya the most murderous people in history?

Before about 5000 years ago, Neolithic Europe was inhabited by people much like those who raised Stonehenge. They were farmers with an urge to work together and build large stone structures. “It looks like these people were quite communal,” says Kristiansen. And that community spirit continued into the afterlife: many of their megalithic monuments served as shared graves – some containing the remains of up…

"There is some controversy regarding whether it was 'genocide' or 'superior' genes, but historically genetic success includes a lot of raping and killing - me"

Except that the people getting killed off in movies aren't really being killed off.

Good point, the movie perspective only counts in movies, Heaven, and explosive metal bombs.

You know Abby Martin has her value but she has gone "Glamour Girl". It's her choice.

At GenZ's level of development, they should be anti-violence, with maturity their views will temper which is a very good thing. The one's that don't feel that way are a lost cause and will only emotionally and philosophically petrify. But with the grace of God they will be fewer in number.

    Don't be ridiculous.

First of all, Abby has always been very fashion-aware, and as an artist — yes, she is a painter and graphics artist, and she has exhibited many of her works — she has always been very conscious about her physical appearance.

Secondly, she is now also no longer the "young and single" daredevil that she was when she was working for RT and then in the early years of her work for TeleSUR. She has just turned 39 years old and she is a mother now — she's been married to Mike Prysner for a couple of years now, and Abby has in the meantime also given birth to a son. Therefore, just like most other women her age, she is even more conscientious about her appearance and seeking to hold onto her — in this case, natural — beauty.

Abby doesn't care about glamour. She does however care about art, and she has always sought to embody that herself, even back when she was still working for RT.

I didn't consider it inane, really if you consider what I posted, I consider that angle the more comprehensive. Look at her guest speakers and how she talked up the one with the exceptional eyes. I now know her sisters are internationally regarded fashion models... Bear in mind that I was willing to entertain your opinion.

Those are probably colored contact lenses. I've never seen anyone with turquoise eyes before, and I don't even think such a thing exists.

That's a coincidence. She talks to them because they are Palestinian activists. Roger Waters certainly isn't a fashion model, but he too has been speaking for the Palestinian people for ages already, and that's why Abby reached out to him. Or maybe he reached out to her — I don't know. Abby has garnered quite a reputation over the years, so it's possible that Roger was the one who contacted her instead of the other way around — it would be unusual, but not impossible.

Either way, Abby Martin is committed to fighting for the underdog and exposing frauds and fakes, she has a sterling reputation as an investigative journalist, and she has already amply risked her own life in going on the ground and interviewing the locals in occupied territories. Now that she has a family, she cannot do the latter anymore, so she has changed her methodology for getting the truth out, and she's still doing it without monetizing her videos or spamming people with commercial ads.

Her integrity is not and has never been for sale.

I didn't question her authenticity or integrity, just her approach. I think it is a genetic rarity but does occur. It was said that Elizabeth Taylor had violet eyes for example.

Freeing the hostage children is a wonderful thing, mourning for the Israeli family dead is a respectful thing. I think for every segment doing such, there should be a corresponding segment for the the children and family dead of the Palestinians PRIOR to the October attack, during, and after. That in my opinion is only respectful of human suffering.
