The whitewash is not really happening...it is more of an 'unbalanced' perspective. No one pretends that the Israelis are innocent, anymore than people pretend Putin is innocent. The 'mainstream media' is like a mind control trigger. Say that first and then the rest of it falls into place.

The Israelis have lost ground as the 'victim' in the social zeitgeist for years...and they are at the end of their 'pretend' role. The problem is the original mistake that no one wants to concede as it was a global mistake, after all and the criticality of the entire area and its potential for global devastation due to the ownership of 'powerful metal bombs' in the possession of crazies.

I was listening to a presentation by Chomsky the other night and he made an interesting point. He stated what he qualified as unprovable was that the U.S. is so staunchly pro-Israel because from a 'shadow' perspective Americans think 'colonialism' is ok because they did it to the Native Americans why not Israel should or can do the same thing to the Palestinians.
