But the narrative over here right now — and I guess we'll never hear the truth about this — is that the missile that hit the hospital was from a failed launch by Hamas. Technically, that is possible, because Hamas often uses self-made rockets, and they're not exactly accurate. It could be true, or it could be Israeli propaganda.

From over here, it is considered pretty much a done deal that it was a failed Hamas rocket. The part of the whole thing that aggravates me is that both sides bemoan the inhumanity of the other side. It would be best if the Palestinians would just say, it isn't us, it is Hamas and other organizations. The Israelis should not blame Palestine, they should blame Hamas. And the entire world should get its shit together and 'fix' that problem. Two states is the only valid solution and it should be enforced. Why is it the people have such a difficult time recognizing the true enemy?

And not all of Hamas' rockets are home-brewed. They do also get some of their rockets from elsewhere, and then those will be the real thing — probably of an already outdated design, but still usable. There's still a lot of former Soviet Union weaponry going round, and at relatively low prices.

I don't know, and like I said, we'll probably never learn the truth about the matter, given that Israel won't allow any independent investigators into the area. They're hell-bent on wiping out the Palestinians first, one way or another.
