What is behind the allegations against Israel?

The European Union's foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell has accused Israel of financing the creation of the Palestinian militant group Hamas. He alleged that Israel supported the militant group to weaken the more moderate Palestinian Authority.

In the past, Israel's prime minister has denied similar allegations of supporting the militant group responsible for the terror attacks in Israel on October 7.

Borrell made these allegations during a speech at a university in Spain without elaborating.

I don’t understand very much of what you are saying.

Hamas had been planning a 10/6 for a long ass time, under the apartheid conditions settler colonial Israel and its IDF. I don’t know what sources you would consider valid, but from my reading/viewing, it was difficult and time consuming for the terrorist organization, even with the support of Netanyahu and even if Iran or Qatar or other sympathetic governments somehow aided them.

When I say “Netanyahu support”, I mean from years ago when it was documented how his govt liked using them for a bogey man (preferred over Hezbollah), like our govt liked having the Taliban and Al Quaeda to trot out to public while they decimated Iraq and Afghanistan while taking as much resources as possible.

I don’t care about any whacky information about individual’s in the situation. Israel has been war criming Palestine in their settler colonial apartheid brutality for like 70 years before 10/6, and since that horrific attack (an attack of terrorism, in no way has anything situation should be framed as “war”, the non-Hamas population of Palestine have no military (or freedom, and now infrastructure).

Israel used the attack to declare war on a helpless population, just like US used 911 to “war” on Iraq and Afaghanstan. The difference is the size of the geography of the victims, so that when we were “shock and aweing” Baghdad, it didn’t tick off as many boxes on the “genocide” table.

Please tell me Fred, what are you saying? I really don’t see what point you are making…are you in disagreement with my assessment?
