It doesn't matter that corporatists gain another 5 billion to match your extra 5 dollars. Cool for you, not for me and the millions of others that recognize the reality. And bear in mind that you will get that extra 5 if it suits the needs of Corporatists. If for whatever the reason that doesn't suit them they lay you off, fire you, whatever it takes to insure they get their billions.

And you can almost rest assured that if 'their' people are not in power, you will get jacked. That's a win/win for them, they get their paycheck, you don't and then the blind believe it is the political philosophy of conservative versus liberal that is actually driving the circumstances. Corporatists are not political they are psychopathic and they will gladly rip your dignity away and tear your heart out.

Who gave the corporations the best tax deal in history?

Biden is kind enough to know the only way to get anything is to cave, if in fact that's true, I've only seen him standing on the picket lines.
The real danger is that the nature of our day-to-day subsistence living has become normalized for many. The longer this situation exists the greater the 'sense' of truth will divide us. Eventually it will, if it already isn't a situation so dire that any change to it will be akin to revolution. The right is already there but as usual they are totally blind to the reality and insist on blaming the wrong source of their misery. They still believe that because corporatists are white and prone to authoritarian fascism that they are supported by them. They are not! Americans are reaching the point that implosion is more likely than changing the trajectory. They can't see past their genetically imposed color barrier.

Somewhat agree with you Chuckstirr, perception is key, who plays with your perception before you do is the question.

That's a standard elitist argument. "That's just your perception." Also known as Gas lighting a rather obvious attempt to manipulate by intimating someone is crazy because their detractors are too intellectually lazy or maybe just too limited to summon up an intelligent rebuttal for obvious facts like EV production requires petroleum and petroleum products. All chained up in that Magical thinking, one cannot summon argument without making it personal.

Then on the same note parroting that subsidence living is now the norm after clumsily calling my very same assertation 'only my perception'.

So what if it is? Nothing wrong MY observational skills nor are they hobbled by fright, bias, limiting emotions or tendencies to flip flop all over the place.

I concur I don't look through the lenses of a emotionally arrested frightened little boy.

Boids, people's perceptions are not of necessity crazy, just many if not most times are wrong. Only one is truth. Your emotions are showing! I know you wouldn't approve.

    Question

Trump team going on attack on RFK presidential run: Analyst

    Dan Abrams Live | NewsNation

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. officially announced his withdrawal from the Democratic primary to launch an independent third-party presidential campaign, raising questions about its impact on Biden and Trump. Kennedy aims to appeal to voters disillusioned with both major parties, positioning himself as an alternative to the expected Biden-Trump rematch.

    Reminds me of when ...

Ralph Nader ran back in 2000 ...

    Spoiler controversy

"In the 2000 presidential election in Florida, George W. Bush defeated Al Gore by 537 votes. Nader received 97,421 votes, which led to claims that he was responsible for Gore's defeat. Nader disputes that he helped Bush to win. A 2003 study found that Nader's candidacy was a critical factor in Bush's victory. A 2004 study found that Nader voters had the profile of likely voters with a preference for Democratic candidates. They were therefore likely to vote for Gore over Bush in the absence of Nader's candidacy"

The problem was that Ralph Nader was just another asshole. He deserved no votes.
