Jacques Vallee is a scientist, author, and high-tech investor located in Silicon Valley. He has published several books and textbooks on computer networking and other topics, but is perhaps best known for his long-term interest in the curious “Wonders in the Sky” known as unidentified flying objects, or more recently, unidentified aerial phenomena. Throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s, a rash of unsettling incidents involving UAP at nuclear weapons sites were logged throughout the American northern tier states. These included events that occurred the morning of March 24, 1967, when ten intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) went offline at an underground launch control facility at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.

This week, we examine the Malmstrom Air Force Base UAP incident, along with similar incidents that occurred at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, and the possible implications of such concerning intrusions in this installment

On the evening of September 19-20, 1961, New Hampshire residents Barney and Betty Hill were returning from a vacation in Canada when they noticed a strange light moving through the sky in the distance. Over the course of the next 45 minutes, their lives would forever change, as they became participants on one of history's best known--and most controversial--alleged UFO sightings.

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we present a historical analysis of the Hill case, and examine some of the finer details about the purported occupants aboard the craft the couple observed, as well as the bizarre claims of their abduction and medical examination on board a UFO.

On September 16, 1994, sixty-two students at Ariel School in Zimbabwe witnessed something incredible that has impacted many of their lives to this day. Today, their story remains one of the most striking incidents involving a landed UFO craft ever recorded, and yet many questions about the case still remain.

The Zimbabwe case was one of the clearest-cut testimonies, in my opinion. They were not military personnel — as in many, if not most of the recent American sightings — but innocent school children attending class. And they still stand by what they witnessed even today.

In September 1951, a radar facility along the New Jersey coast began to detect fast moving, unidentified aircraft traveling at high altitudes. Less than a half hour later, a pair of military aircraft flying nearby observed an odd, disc-shaped object which, after they began chasing it, quickly evaded them and flew out to sea.

The incident at Fort Monmouth was dismissed by the U.S. Air Force's Project Grudge, the immediate predecessor to Project Blue Book, as having been due to operator error on part of the staff at the radar facility, and a balloon observed by the two pilots. However, a deeper investigation reveals otherwise about a case that, ultimately, caused a "system reset" for the USAF's UFO investigations. We look at this controversial case, and its historical implications in UFO studies

Friday, April 24, 1964. Lonnie Zamora, a police officer in Socorro, New Mexico, was chasing a speeding motorist when he heard a loud roaring noise, accompanied by what he described as a peculiar flame in the sky. As he watched the object descend, the officer veered off the highway onto a gravel road, and went to investigate. What happened next resulted in one of the most widely-discussed UAP incidents of all time.

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we retrace the footsteps of Project Blue Book investigators as we reexamine what has since been called the Air Force's "best case", and the mystery surrounding two individuals Zamora observed outside the craft, a curious red "insignia" emblazoned on the object, and the theories about what, precisely, the object could have been.

It began a routine patrol for Deputy Sheriff Dale Spaur in the early morning hours of April 17, 1966, as he and his partner, Mounted Officer Barney Neff, stopped to investigate a parked vehicle along a roadway. Behind them, Spaur noticed a bright light rising from behind the trees, and heading silently in their direction. What would transpire over the course of the next several hours would change their lives forever.

This week, we examine the true story of a group of police officers that chased a UFO, and reveal why this case became one of the most infamous ever investigated by the Air Force, destroying the lives of the officers involved, and even leading to an attempt to terminate its contract with its science advisor, J. Allen Hynek

During the Cold War, sightings of strange "mystery submarines" were reported in various parts of the world, from the coastal waters of Scandinavian countries to the ocean surrounding parts of New Zealand, South American countries, and others. Although fears of Soviet espionage ran high, some of the incidents defied simple explanation, seemingly pointing to other alternatives as to what these mystery "USOs" and their origins may have been.
