I only just heard of this a couple days ago. There is a movement forming to take over land stretching from Alaska to Florida, including parts of Canada, and form a nation called Diagolon. The flag is a black background with a white stripe sweeping diagonally across.

According to Urban Dictionary Diagolon is

A proposed nation composed of territory from former American States and Canadian Provinces, which when mapped, form a Diagonal line from Alaska to Florida.

The Nation was first proposed by Raging Dissident while he was high as a kite on edibles that "ain't shit". It has since gained traction with thousands of supporters, chiefly due to the increasingly aggressive behaviour of the authoritarian left. Many see it as an inevitable response to this aggression, and a promised land for those with traditional Western Republican values.
Nations come and go, but Diagolon never dies.

The group has been quickly popping up on the anti-hate radar.

When Alberta RCMP released images of the weapons and tactical gear seized from a group that took part in the Coutts, Alta., border blockade, the pictures showed patches displaying a white diagonal line on a black background — the calling card of the Diagolon far-right extremist group.

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino alluded to ties between protesters in Ottawa and the Coutts arrests while speaking to reporters Wednesday, saying “several of the individuals at Coutts have strong ties to a far-right extreme organization with leaders who are in Ottawa. We’re talking about a group that is organized, agile, knowledgeable and driven by an extremist ideology where might makes right.”

Mendicino appeared to double down on his remarks in Thursday’s House of Commons session, saying “there is an ideologically-motivated operation that we see in the rhetoric here that is meant to incite,” which was one of the major reasons the government chose to invoke the Emergencies Act, he said.

Diagolon can be categorized as an “accelerationist” group, according to researchers who study extremism.

Director of the Center for Bias, Hate and Extremism at Ontario Tech University Barbara Perry defined accelerationism as the “intent on accelerating or fomenting a civil war, overturning what they see as the current corrupt, illegitimate order.” Perry listed violent groups such as The Base, Atomwafen, and the Boogalo Boys as examples of adherents to that principle.

“For some, this resonates with the traditional RAHOWA, or Racial Holy War. For others, it represents an all-out civil war that would delegitimize and destabilize the current regime,” Perry said in her email. “Many accelerationists celebrated the events of January 6, 2021 in Washington DC as the onset of this civil war (eg, The Base), hence the calls…for the Freedom Convoy to be our January 6. Some of these groups/individuals are among the most aggressive and volatile elements of the far-right, and as we saw in Coutts, heavily armed.”

If you're 'longing to belong' then you're an outsider, right? That's standard recruiting language. New pretty clothes, though. If you like black and white.

I have family all over the country, as I've said many times. And I lived in Tunisia with a family for two months including Ramadan when I was sixteen. Family values are the same, wherever you go, here and around the world. Don't let anyone tell you different. And don't let anyone divide you from your family because there are supposedly different regional values. It's just divisiveness under cover of unity. If you really want unity you don't need a new nation cracking the old ones in half like Britain cracked India.

Quite literary a pipe-dream, unless the West coast was to fall into the sea, giving new meaning to the phrase 'Left coast'... And if that sea does rise up, we can probably eliminate several other locations to this nonsensical map.

The bottom line, the Earth will ultimately decide where humans will dwell upon her.
