It seems that many people are relieved of the tyrannical Syrian government falling, not that the outcome would be known yet. The same thing would happen with Russia when the house of cards comes crashing down, very many people would be relieved and glad about it. Putin is having al-Assad as his dictator buddy there with him now as his pet. He realized a long time ago the same thing could happen to him and he has ruled Russia with fear besides the usual mafia style corruption. Before turning to the dark side Jordan Peterson succinctly said; "Personalities that are predicated on self-tyranny and the tyranny of others are doomed and doomed to collapse."

So Jordan made sense to a degree, an insight but not an articulate one on his part...cool.

Yeah, Assad is considered one of the more brutal leaders in the world and most citizens are ecstatic to have a potential for future freedom. Of course, on balance the 'evil' influences outweigh the light. Hmmm...well, it is the geographical location of the initial spread of the 'evil' gene, so I at least would expect this animalistic behavior to prevail and dominate until ongoing evolution does it thing.

Good analogies, Fred. Look for the next brutal dictator that victimizes his people by the millions and you will find an excellent candidate.
