Almost like they're a different species of human. Even most regular people who support these sordid agendas do so mostly out of ignorance IMO, quite possibly even willful ignorance in many cases, but not out of a blood lust for human suffering. The latter are a different kind of animal all together, the wonderful world of psychopathy.

Case in point. Here's one of these creatures at Davos just recently, doing his best at trying to feign human emotion:

Now we may well part company here on this, but the more I "look" at it, the more I tend to give serious credence to the existence of this human sub set being of a lineage (so to speak), dating back into the mists of ancient times.

    So there, I said it.

In the same vein as the Peter Zeihan types, cheerleaders with pom poms for the US led "Rules Based International Order", it was time to hear what this utter disgrace of an ex general/ex CIA head would be saying about current events concerning Iran.

Of course it was about what I expected, the same kind of Zeihan type of shameless propaganda pieces, combined with predictions that never pan out. Was pleasantly surprised however, by the number of people in the comment section who know better than to take seriously people like him, and were already taking him to task. Pretty damn brutal, he wouldn't be a happy camper reading his reviews there...

It gave me a ray of hope for humanity. Do check out the comment section, but I'll paste a few below:

This guy is of similar mentality, and a victim of similar sources, to those who believe for instance that Putin, Xi Jinping and others are still the "baddies' in this world that need to be dealt with by "the great anglo saxon god in the sky".

Yeah, they brought it upon themselves, right...

So I watched them, but am scratching my head as to why they would be up my ally so to speak.

One was a dyed in the wool neocon vs. a guy that’s gonna wind up just urging his fading flock to vote for the establishment democrat - yet again.

Another was how the dumb backward Russians are too incompetent to produce their own advanced missile technology, even though they have hypersonic and the US doesn’t.

And I’m not sure where the Sherlock Holmes clip fits into all that?

Isn't that pretty obvious? It's quite clear that there are often if not always financial reasons to keep mankind in perpertual warfare.

You can decide for yourself who the psychopathic and narcissistic professor Moriarty represents at least symbolically.

Of course, money isn't the only reason, but as they say, follow the money. Stupidity, fear and greed rule here...

Ah okay, I see where your coming from there. Maybe the word "enjoy" is the sticking point.

I listen to most every perspectives under the sun, on a near daily basis. Hell man, give me a side to argue, any side, and I can probably do a decent job of making that side's point even when vehemently disagreeing with it; but I don't enjoy studying those other points of view, it's just part of the duty of maintaining a well rounded knowledge of what's swirling around out there.

Hell man, I knew what Prager and Uygur were all about before either one of them ever said a word.

Now what I do enjoy, is sitting at the feet of those whom I've come to consider superior intellects, true students of how the world really works with no agendas, and learning from them.

Like this little round table discussion that took hours to finally catch the whole thing here and there today, in bits and pieces, as real life demands on my time allowed.

Fred, I hope you're not including me in your "Peter Ziehan types". I haven't watched his videos for awhile, even for his demographic takes. I abhor his attitude that the world has imposed on the US, the job of global sheriff, rather than the US has chosen to bully the world. It makes me sick. I don't trust that his foundational beliefs aren't going to color his statistics, at this point.

Plus, his take on reindustrializing the US, and how that will/could be done seems naive.

I think the US is gearing up for this and if the republicans are elected it will proceed on steroids. I think the plan is to increase incarceration rates and have heavy manufacturing done within a prison slave complex.

Oh wow, no, thanks for giving me the chance to clarify that. I'm talking about the other commentators out there like him- the shameless, spook type cheerleaders for US Empire.

Like the Thomas Friedman type for example, but stylized to find that cool niche in alternative media.

Here's a good example, where any nation or region lacking the official US nod of approval, meets with utter disdain. In this case, he simply writes off 1,000 years of Middle Eastern history as nowheresville, backwater:

Either he just writes off and simply erases inconvenient history, or he is simply unaware. Hard for me to imagine this obviously intelligent, well educated and articulate public speaker is unaware, but either way the gist of this recent video leads the viewer astray. Whether intentionally, or unintentionally. And there's more I could point out here, but am going to keep it basic.

At the very beginning Zeihan states matter of factly:
For the last 1,000 years, the Middle East has not been a place that anyone wants to be, it was on the way somewhere.
Well, he's leaving out the Byzantine Empire (Eastern half of the former Roman Empire) 330-1453

And the succeeding Ottoman Empire - 1299-1922
    Name: Ottoman Empire 2.jpg

Size: 80.6 KB

(Makes me doubt he would recognize the preceding Persian Empire either)

Why do people like him do this sort of thing? I have my own ideas. They are varying, and to varying degrees. But you tell me. And this means of analysis is in no way unique to this video...

    Back to WW3 potentials

Interesting what current CIA Chief William Burns had to say about the Russia/Ukraine (also Georgia) situation, back when he was ambassador to Russia 2005-2008. He certainly saw trouble coming via his Russian counterparts, concerning further NATO eastern expansion, making it difficult for one to read these cables exposed by Wikileaks to walk away still convinced the entire problem is the mantra "Unprovoked Russian Aggression".

    Just the summary:

Classified By: Ambassador William J. Burns. Reasons 1.4 (b) and (d).

    1. (C) Summary. Following a muted first reaction to
Ukraine's intent to seek a NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP)
at the Bucharest summit (ref A), Foreign Minister Lavrov and
other senior officials have reiterated strong opposition,
stressing that Russia would view further eastward expansion
as a potential military threat. NATO enlargement,
particularly to Ukraine, remains "an emotional and neuralgic"
issue for Russia, but strategic policy considerations also
underlie strong opposition to NATO membership for Ukraine and
Georgia. In Ukraine, these include fears that the issue
could potentially split the country in two, leading to
violence or even, some claim, civil war, which would force
Russia to decide whether to intervene. Additionally, the GOR
and experts continue to claim that Ukrainian NATO membership
would have a major impact on Russia's defense industry,
Russian-Ukrainian family connections, and bilateral relations
generally. In Georgia, the GOR fears continued instability
and "provocative acts" in the separatist regions. End
    summary.

Hi Fred, Interesting. William Burns writing here, several years before the war with Ukraine, underlines the fact that what is occurring is likely a civil war with Russia intervening, as one side angles itself towards Nato. Maybe not that cut and dried, but this is primarily what is occurring, with plenty of remoras attached to greater shark of war profiteering.

It is really interesting, especially considering where he's coming from now which is basically just another supporting cog in the DC neocon machine. Democracy is all but gone by now except for the trappings, of
which even those are fraying at the edges.

This is where the subject of this thread can diverge back over into the Tucker Carlson thread (or not...). The establishment narrative machine isn't going to let any legitimate journalist near a guy like now CIA Director Burns, who even have a minute possibility of doing something so unforgiveable as to tie them to their former lives before this event horizon we're now a part of. Back when they were still able/allowed to think.

We're not supposed to be exposed to anything that was from "before", or differs from "narrative", and that's where Tucker (warts and all) did an end around in exposing now hundreds of millions of people to the wonderful world of "before".

    A world divergent from "narrative".
