Great Woo
Strange times , see a doco has been put back to an August showing and laughed when seen it's title S-election, then remembered i created a thread with that same title, went to it but i have been removed from that disscussion , those were the days of most secure election ever and no neg cv1984 talk etc etc, when facts and truth are allowed light it usualllly starts with > communication < especialllly as honesty rears it's head.

That was good, Richard Burton was an interesting guy with some entertaining stories about his father.
I've watched a lot of those old Dick Cavett clips over the years, most of them are rather interesting as well, he had on some real characters, and he was a great conversationalist at being able to keep things rolling, without actually appearing to be purposely doing so, everything just flowed. I'm not sure if Joe Rogan really gets the credit he deserves for being much the same in present day, and although he's taken that format to a whole new level in doing the long conversation bit, Dick Cavett got a lot out of his guests in relatively short periods of time.
Dick Van Dyke was an interesting guest, a model of one who has learned to look at themselves objectively, not an easy task:
The unexamined life is not worth living.
Socrates
Still alive, watch a quick vid on him, 97 ?.
