yeah, I sorta figured that. Hard to tell if anything is true or false today as the right spends a good portion of its world resources on generating lies ... (Just like all the conspiracies say) but what is manifestly true is that he and his 'former' wife spend a lot of money trying to help those less fortunate.

I never liked Bill Gates in the eighties/nineties, etc. I always hated Windows because it always operated like crap, in my experience.

For instance, I used a microsoft program to be able to type in french with the accents. The program worked better on the Mac than it did on the PC. But it was written for the PC.

I didn't like Bill Gates domination of the market, not by competition, but by the kinds of things you write about, BOB. They basically left no other options. Everything was bundled together.

So I am enjoying a smidgen of schadenfreude seeing Bill Gates be pilloried, even though the accusations are pretty wild and quite off-base.

I can't support the pedo-rabbit-hole because so many folks are glomming onto mass accusations hurled at large groups of uninvolved people, i.e. liberals.

People are literally being harassed on the streets in the US and being called pedophiles by political activists who have come to rallies. They don't know shit about the person but they do it anyway.

This leads to mob violence and potentially a lot of murder.

The gross irresponsibility of throwing around these accusations is shameful.

Shame on all who do it, because the real pedos will just keep getting away with it.

As long as they have this massive straw-man they'll prey on more and more children.

And the mob will let them.

I don't know if anything like this has ever been published but if anyone wants it, they can have it:

I have a hypothesis as to how the psychopathic genetics/'brain dysfunction' got into the gene pool, a uniquely human characteristic and I believe not possessed by any human progenitors including the Denisovans and Neanderthals. Interbreeding? I'm reading the book by James Fallon of the above video, "The Scientist and the Psychopath" to use a dysfunctional paraphrase, and he has traced his psychopathic behaviors to his European King ancestors. His King ancestors had a penchant for familicide, fathers, children, mothers, brothers and sisters. In fact, history is replete with such monarchical examples. There it is short and sweet, someone just has to fill in the blanks.

Nature does what it do, give it a chance and it will produce a saint or a sinner, a.k.a. The Psychopathic Gene, which has adaptive pressures for survival. Not a perfect mechanism, but good enough for humans. I suspect that no one has categorical proof when psychopathy entered the gene pool, but we surely can find traces a good while back in time. Maybe those people that were holed up on the wrong side of the Caucasus mountains during the encroaching and receding ice ages. When they busted loose of their restrictions there was no looking back.

This one is about the moon's influence on earth and its oxygenation.

Really interesting stuff. The dynamic between cyanobacteria and the sulfur-oxidizing bacteria represents the 'Dawn of Predation'. And the moon will someday be gone. It's probably a race between the expansion of the sun and the recession of the moon.

There might be many such life producing dynamics like this on other planets but I wonder if there are also life-producing cycles that don't occur in this fashion? Can you imagine a world without predation? Interesting, I think!

Predation is energy changing form. Life on earth is a very dynamic cycle of energetic transformation.

The moon's formation as described in the video could happen in other solar systems. There need to be a lot of factors falling into place at the right time for the kind of oxygenation and life we see here. It is quite amazing.

I don't feel like we're all that unique, but we may be an 'interesting' development in the Galaxy. It may be rare enough that we could be considered special. Who knows?

I would love to see what life exists on the moons of our Solar system.

Do the cheetahs sense a lifeforce or not?

I think I saw a little hop which might be indicating a sense of play?

I'm still fascinated by the oxygenation of the earth and the effect of the moon on its rotation allowing for a long enough day in order for the bacteria to have enough time to produce enough oxygen to transform the planet...

    Goldilocks zone indeed.
