The irony is stunning. The same people who deny evolution and say they don't come from monkeys go to the Capitol and smear feces and urine.

    Like monkeys.

Well, they didn't come from monkeys. They evolved from incestuous cabbages.

And they were all found in baskets out in the cabbage patch? I remember as a very young child asking my parents where I came from and both of them would say they found me in a basket in the garage. That was a very honest answer.

No, it was not directed at you, Vern. What I wrote there is simply the truth. It's a propaganda technique, i.e. if you want the people on your side, then depict your adversaries as the most evil, most foul thing that ever existed. And that's exactly what the far-right has been doing for decades already. In Nazi-occupied territory during World War II, the Nazis were spreading cartoons in which the Jews were all depicted as ugly, unkempt thieves.

I don't save any such links, Vern, but it's all over the news. It shouldn't be too hard for you to find with the search engine of your choice ─ I recommend DuckDuckGo, because unlike Google, they don't track you.

Okay, sorry Aragorn. So antifa groups or most of them are Nazi's as they were doing as they did, and recently they are attacking democratic buildings also, i seen on fox and cnn so very likely true as coming from both sides but then that makes them sorta 3rd partyish ? yes ?.

Antifa are definitely not Nazis, but some of their members are behaving violently, which ─ deservedly ─ brings these members under the terrorism label. And in that, these violent people are then casting a shadow on Antifa as a whole.

The rotten apples in the basket, and all that.

P.S.: Please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that the left-wing doesn't use propaganda. As the matter of fact, the far-left has also spread quite a lot of propaganda, and most notably in the 1960s ─ Vietnam, the Soviet Union, Communist China, et al. Propaganda in and of itself is neither left-wing nor right-wing. It is merely information which is intended to be manipulative and which may or may not incorporate lies to achieve its intended purpose. But right now, in this day and age, the far-right is engaging far more in propaganda techniques than anything on the left.

Okay, am getting mixed messages , Kathy has a thread with Clif High vids and on the first one, it is saying that antifa and BLM are fighting each other, so maybe two opposing terrorist parties fighting each other , with one being democrat and one being republican ? yes.

Kathy has a habit of posting videos before actually watching them, and I myself don't pay any attention to what Clif High says. To me he's just another YouTube talking head.

That said, I don't think either Antifa or the Black Lives Matter movement would be Republican. Neither movement is necessarily partisan to the US Democrats, but one should definitely regard the both of them as left-wing, and therefore I think it's unlikely that there would be US Republicans among either of them.

Calvin and Hobbes was in color too.

Not everything is black and white.

I.e. if you don't believe so-and-so is a pedo, you must be an antifa worshipper.

    Bunk. Nonsense. Malarkey.

I've watched some of his scientific explanations, but he's quite often wrong. And as for the US Democrats, as a whole, their policy is neoliberal, which still puts them to the right of what is internationally considered the political dead-center. So as a party, they are most definitely not socialist, even though they do have socialists among their members.

Bernie Sanders for instance is a socialist. And that's exactly why they've shoved him aside ─ for the second time now ─ in the run for becoming the Democratic presidential candidate. It was clear from the start that the Democratic National Committee did not want a socialist in the White House, and that they wanted Joe Biden to run for president, which is why all other candidates ─ including Marianne Williamson ─ were either pushed or forced out of the race. It has even leaked out to the press that the Democratic super delegates had all vowed to vote against Bernie. And that's because the Democratic Party not only has a more progressive wing, but also a more conservative wing, among which you will find both Bill and Hillary Clinton. And the conservative wing of the Democrats has always had things their way, because they're the dominant half of the Democratic Party, and on the political horizon, they sit only marginally closer to the center than the Republicans.

Likewise, you will also find both more moderate people and more extreme people among the Republican party. The neocons (e.g. G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney) for instance are very far to the right, and even farther than them you will find the Tea Party members (e.g. Sarah Palin) and the white-supremacists.

It's not like there's unity among the members of either party. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are among the centerline members of the Democratic Party ─ which in comparison to political values in the rest of the world still puts them slightly to the right, although by American standards they are considered dead-center. Or extreme-left-wing communists, pedophiles, reptilians and Satan-worshipers, depending on which right-winger you ask for an opinion on them, of course.

    Crimers gonna crime.

While the public has flooded authorities with more than 200,000 pieces of digital media to review, Assistant FBI Director Steven D'Antuono said investigators continued to appeal for help in the search for the suspect or suspects who planted pipe bombs at the headquarters of the Republican and Democratic national committees.

As investigators picked apart tips, video, social media information and other leads for hundreds of distinct case files, D.C.’s Acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin said he expected that his office would bring more conspiracy, sedition and assault on law enforcement charges against Capitol attackers.

    [...]

“There’s no manpower issue here, we have no issues with the court,” Sherwin said at one point, seemingly refuting a report that authorities were considering not charging certain individuals involved in the siege.

“These numbers are on a steep incline.”

An FBI agent’s affidavit on the trio noted that one Oath Keeper, Thomas Edward Caldwell, allegedly received Facebook messages during the attack directing him to tunnels under the Capitol, where members of Congress were thought to be.

“All members are in the tunnels under capital seal them in,” one message read. “Go through back house chamber doors facing N left down hallway down steps,” said another.

“That [case] was of note because it shows militia groups actively involved in planning and breaching the Capitol,” Sherwin said of the Oathkeepers.

There is no entitlement to vigilante justice.

    It's a code, not guidelines:

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter liked to say, “Never paraphrase a statute!” So here’s what U.S. law says now about the crime of “seditious conspiracy”:

“If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.”
