Well, true to form, it was interesting and disgusting at the same time.
1. They're doing brain studies to determine or not CTE
2. In a 'sophisticated' security environment things can be so tangled that hardware and software security mechanisms cannot effectively be managed without full access to both. So perhaps there are reasons for this level of 'authorization' for Teixeira. He did, for example, sign a lifetime NDA. He was as described immature and way too impulsive to be in that position. He may end up in a worse position than Snowden, but likely not due to his age. I don't think it made it any easier on the people his age to attain similar roles.
3. Having a given clearance does not allow automatic access to classified documents, there is a default 'need to know' wall that needs to be crossed. As an administrator of the system he may or may not have had legal rights to view the info and just took it upon himself, 'to take a peek' and then publish it. A very bad decision.

Pee Wee Harman's intentions were stupid but he accomplished shedding a light on some important information the the world wouldn't know otherwise. And we should be much more aware of American culpability and lies in this war.

I wondered if you would post this, Wind. I watched it last night. Do you see the contrast I've been referring to. That isn't the nature of a someone in his field. That is why he is no longer in his field. He should be given credit for turning lemons into lemonade.

Once I was driving back from California and was on the border of Colorado and Kansas. I named a time when we would arrive at home. I had a digital clock in my car and after 300 miles mind you, I guessed the minute i drove into the driveway, actually my clock was a minute off, i was exact. I've always been able to do that. I think I'll become a superhero. A walking talking clock.
