Fred Phelps. I watched Megan Phelps-Roper on Joe Rogan's podcast. It was fascinating.

The dark side of our 'freedom of religion' is the blind eye turned towards abuse in religious institutions. And the blind eye turned towards the efforts of these institutions to take power and control.

Freedom from these religions is just as, if not more important, when they want to annihilate the rest of us.

We are now in a state where people who wear masks and get vaccinated are being called demon-posessed. There's no shame or even care if you believe you're killing a demon.

People might even dance on your grave if they think you were demon possessed.

At 6:40 Dr Todd describes Fred's belief that God hates sinners and does not love those in hell.

But people in hell are pulled out by the hand of God, or by Jesus. There are a multitude of these sorts of accounts.

Personally, I don't believe it's literally God or the hand of Jesus. It's the belief. When you believe you're beyond redemption you can consign your own self to hell. And when that hand reaches out to you, that's your own self finally believing that you can be saved.

I've become convinced that hell is a creation of man for his own punishment as well as the prurient interests of folks who wish to see others suffer.

It's pretty gross.

There's no hell in jewish belief. (or so I've been told)

I worked with Rusty Yates and he was an 'extremely' weird guy ... If I didn't know better I would have thought he was living in a fantasy world full-time.

this story is b.s. : Rusty Yates at one point said he accepted the death of his kids and that he and Andrea could have more. The guy was every bit as psychotic as his wife. She doesn't know the full story.
