Ah, the "sequel" to The Shining. I won't dare to watch it again alone... Way too creepy.

    You actually don't feel anything

I had head trauma around 17 and got retinal detachment or something, so i had to be injected in the left eye just like that, i did not feel a thing, but just the pressure of the thing going inside. I don't remember if i got anything to numb, but i do remember getting eye drops to clean the eye and then other drops, may have been to prevent any pain

It's more for the people looking than the person receiving the injection i guess

My husband and I watched Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It was very enjoyable. Better than either of us expected.

I get freaked out even watching any procedure on the eye. My mom watched eye surgery once, she was fascinated. I just can't look.

If one wants to watch a movie that is interesting despite making absolutely no sense this is the one for one ... The main bad guy is an exceptionally attractive guy, but he's weeiiirrddd!. And what's even weirder is that it is impossible to determine why. Anyway ... Oh, and by the way they even stole the title from another recent movie:

There's only one way to describe this series ... intense. The evil guy in blackface is amazing. I won't tell you any more than that. This is one to watch but hold your loved ones close.

I didn't know Viggo aka Aragorn is in this movie, never actually seen it. What about you, Bob or Aragorn?

When it comes to martial arts movies, Donnie Yen has some amazing ones. Especially the Ip Man-series.

yeah, I saw it but it isn't really a memorable movie. Might be why Viggo was mia. One of Aragorn's best movie: A History of Violence. I've seen a couple of the IP Man movies. It took me about a half hour into the 1st movie to realize that IP Man wasn't an IT guy. Really ...

In today's world, when not talking of IT, the acronym IP stands for "intellectual property" ─ or "imaginary property", depending on your ethical persuasion. So I'm guessing IP Man would actually be a copyright lawyer.

I'ts kind of the Ginger or MaryAnn thing. I've never been a big Pacino fan, I'm more of a Robert DeNiro type. I like DeNiro's tough guy persona solidified in his movie 'Raging Bull'.

Back in the 70's I worked with a guy that claimed he was Jake LaMotta or fought LaMotta in Madison Square Garden (It was never clear because in truth this guy was a red-haired Irish drunk). He was always wanting to box me, so one day I did. He laughed at me and said I would have been knocked out in the 1st round in any fight. One day he actually threatened to come after me but I talked him out of doing anything crazy. Just being afraid was good enough for him.

He was about 55 years old at the time, and would spend break time demonstrating one-armed pushups. He was just a loon, I think.

Anyway, now you know the rest of the story. The only Pacino movies I've actually liked were his early Godfather performances.
