That was very interesting. Text at beginning appears to indicate the locals and law enforcement are 'looking out' for these simple harmless folk who are approaching their genetic dead end in dignity and peace.

Methinks these simple folk don't think much of strangers asking questions.

That was a big trip to Walmart they had, hadn't seen this one and it was interesting seeing the family out and away from their familiar home environment.

Did you happen to catch the old neighbor friend they ran into at the 20:32 mark? He's open carrying a pistol on his right hip. That was mostly illegal until just recently, if you carried it had to be concealed and with a license, but it's a new thing where conservative states are loosening all the rules meaning open carry is now okay, and not even a license is needed. This just happened in my own state.

Personally I prefer the license requirement for someone to be toting around a dangerous weapon like that, same as the required drivers license for a car, it demonstrates that one has at least been schooled on the basics.

ahh, i can't see the video but you mentioned the magic word ... Walmart. I had a young lady take a picture of me a few months ago in Walmart. I was wearing my favorite t-shirt and she asked politely.

"My parents said I could be anything, so I became an asshole!" She thought it was hilarious.

Shark attack researcher discusses mistaken identity - when it is, and when it isn't - Seems that large sharks seldom make mistakes.

    Scary bear attacks.

Warning--I just listened to this particular video for the first time. Don't watch unless you want to be mortified and grossed out.

I have a friend who goes hiking in high density grizzly populated areas. He hasn't been carrying bear spray, so I have been trying to convince him how important it is by sending him videos like the one above.

Hey Fred, Have been watching Soft White Underbelly videos for a couple of years now. His videos featuring homeless people in LA are great. Some have called them exploitive, but to me, they have been profoundly educational.

The Whittakers seem happy enough. Still, object lessons on why multi generational incest isn't a good idea.

    Thinking

    hmm ...

The direction you see this horse walking says a lot about you ...

"A mind-bending optical illusion can reveal a lot about you and the mindset you have.

The visual puzzle, created by Bright Side, can apparently tell if you’re stuck in the past or easy for the future, depending on what you see.

So what does it say about you?

The image shows a man on a horse with a dog at its feet, but it all depends on what direction the horse is walking in.

According to the puzzle, if you see the horse walking forwards, it means you’re always looking for the good to come in the future.

You can’t wait for great things to come into your life and are excited about the future.

However, if you see the horse walking backward, it might mean you are stuck in the past.

You might be feeling nostalgic about the past and thinking about what could have been done differently, making you a more thoughtful person.

So what way did you see the horse walking and is it time for you to let go of the past?

Or are you the kind of person who is always thinking ahead?

Bright Side added: “Do you really know the TRUE you?

“Maybe you thought you’re an introvert when you were actually an extrovert this whole time!?

“Are you a logical, analytical thinker, or do you base most of your decision-making on gut feelings, intuition, or emotions?

“This optical illusions personality test will reveal it all!”

And users were blown away, one wrote: “This is so accurate Bright Side, keep it up!”

“Got to know a lot about myself!!” Another added."

It's about how trauma and culture breeds dysfunction. This is perhaps a topic for another thread though.
