wow, a couple of good ones. Recently some 'ancient' footprints were discovered while digging at White Sands, New Mexico. Ostensibly, it set the American timeline back 10,000 years.

Very good series! The main characters: Tom Bombadil, Elendil, Elrond, Galadriel, Suaron, Gandalf as yet literally does not have a name, he's known as the ragged giant. According to this story, Gandalf was 'trained' by Tom Bombadil who is older than the Earth. Gandalf 'fell from the stars as did the Dark Wizard (also trained by Tom Bombadil but went to the dark side). Sauron is something else again. If anyone can place the characters in chronological and genealogical order, I would appreciate it, I would be tickled pink.
