I've watched The Langoliers" back in the 1990s. As with most of Stephen King's novels, it's a great story, and the movie does keep the suspense up.

I watched this last night, it was pretty uninspiring but I remember the day well. A good friend runs into the classroom during lunch break, out of breath saying Kennedy had been shot. Not much revealed really but one thing did make sense to me, one hand didn't know what the other was doing...The Parkland hospital doctors were focused on saving the President, Bethesda was focused on doing an incompetent autopsy. In a fashion, they both failed in doing a complete job. The name of life's game!
Through the years, I've seen two convincing stories, PBS did an excellent job trying to substantiate a single shooter. Another one that I saw claimed that some French guys, probably some distant relatives of Aragorn, had hidden in a street water drain and shot from the front. And then there was the one with the SS guy accidentally shooting him that was pretty believable. Early in my Baptism to the internet, I saw one film where the driver turned around and shot him. I was shocked and believing for more than a moment. After, a couple of thoughts and a discussion with a co-worker whose father was an FBI guy that had nabbed some infamous dude ... I realized it was beyond doubt faked. Anyway, because there is no one in a position that has the complete story, I don't think we will ever know for sure.

From the perspective of small town Midwest 'Chicano' life this movie could almost be considered a parody but for big city life it is a different story. In my local community, there were two thugs that pretty much ran the bootlegging trade. They were from the mean streets of Oakland, California. The younger brother entered the 'familia' after he got out of prison. He was bigger than the size of Danny Trejo and almost as mean (better looking though). This dude most people were smart enough not to mess with but there were exceptions. I had a good friend that was a karate black belt and an instructor, he and his brother picked a fight with this dude and he fought them both at the same time and he had knocked them both out. It was not wise to cross certain boundaries.
I had to confront him once over a rumor that I had heard. I was very careful that he understood that I wasn't looking for trouble but that I just wanted to talk to him about it. He denied the truth of the rumor, but as I told a friend of mine, who wouldn't? Not for any reason other than practicality. That was hard to argue with he agreed.
Are you guys familiar with this Italian movie and does the video work?
I never actually really watched these Terence Hill and Bud Spencer movies.

Hard to believe I've never seen this movie before as an action movie aficionado. I need to check it out!

I don't remember it, parts might be familiar but only because they were movie memes. The shot in the foot or lower leg from underneath the car, one could be sure that all the Mexicans would die early with possibly a surviving female sexpot... now that I think about it, things haven't changed much.
I watched this last night. It was a weird movie but I never checked where the movie was produced but it had a non-American vibe. It wasn't bad but really I have been burnt out on vampire and zombie movies for a long time. With some exceptions for example World War Z which got bad reviews but I liked it:

It's an Italian movie (with Anglo-Saxon actors), based upon an Italian comic book series.
I have that one on my computer, and as a movie in and of itself, it's not bad — if you can suspend disbelief long enough to take zombies for real— but at the same time, it's also clearly pro-Israeli propaganda.
