This is a real quality movie ... a brain teaser ... keeps one guessing what will happen next and never figuring it out. If you hope to watch it, i wouldn't watch the 'ending' snippet.

Out of those I've seen Edge of Tomorrow and Source Code. I'd say they were just okay like Tenet was, but usually time travel movies end up being cheap trills or just plain dumb i.e. not making much sense logically. I enjoyed Looper the most, but even that had a stupid ending. Still need to see that Twelve Monkeys, for some reason I've never seen it although it has interested me as a classic.

I downloaded a virus while updating my computer ... for any potential victims:
If you get a popup notice requiring a DirectX player update ... delete it immediately. I'm still not sure my computer is clean. A lot of political applets AND a surreptious invocation of bank account links. It also installs a new browser plug in (Chrome) ... that might have been a simultanous update by Microsoft as it added Edge and Chromium. I hate it when that happens.

NAP, have you checked the Mandalorian? I've been a major Star Wars fan (sorry Trekkies) and I was so disappointed by the latest movies, especially the last one almost ruined the franchise. However this series is said to be good and I'm gonna give it a watch soon. Second season will be released around Halloween.

Linux itself is not a complete operating system, even though most people do call the entire system "Linux". Linux is only the kernel of the operating system, and was originally developed by Linus Torvalds, at the time a computer science student at the University of Helsinki. Linus is Finnish, but from a Swedish speaking minority. He currently resides in the USA with his family, and although he still oversees the development of the Linux kernel, he doesn't write any code of his own anymore.
Linus was using an HP Vectra computer when he was at the university, and it had an Intel 80386 processor, which is a 32-bit processor. However, the operating system on Linus' computer was MINIX, an at the time only 16-bit UNIX-like operating system written by Professor Andrew Tanenbaum for educational purposes. This meant that Linus and his fellow students were allowed to study the source code, but the license forbade them from altering said source code. As Linus wanted his computer to operate at the 32-bit level and the MINIX license did not allow for modification of the code, Linus started out writing his own 32-bit kernel ─ meanwhile Linux also runs on 64-bit systems and mainframes, but I'm running ahead of myself. Linus was also already interfacing with the university's mainframe computer ─ which ran UNIX ─ and he had already written a terminal emulator for doing so.
In August 1991, Linus decided to publish his code, and he wrote an announcement in the MINIX Usenet discussion group, asking for people to help him in the development. He had used some elements from the GNU operating system, such as a command shell. GNU is a Free Software UNIX operating system ─ started by Richard M. Stallman in 1983 in order to promote software freedom ─ and is of professional quality, but it lacked a working kernel of its own. Still, Linus had no aspirations of making it into a professional system at that point. It was just a hobby for him at the time, and he was only concerned with getting the thing to work on his own computer.
Now, the GNU people were also monitoring the MINIX Usenet group, and they immediately contacted Linus and offered to port large parts of the GNU system ─ and later on, virtually all of the system ─ to the Linux kernel. As such, GNU/Linux was born, but the software only comes from its developers as source code. This is where the distributions come in. These are organizations ─ whether commercial and for-profit (like RedHat) or whether free of charge ─ that gather all the components and the software and then compile that into binary, readily installable packages, usually in the form of a downloadable .iso file ─ i.e. a filesystem image ─ which can be burned to an optical disk or to a USB stick, from which the system can then be installed onto a hard disk or an SSD.
At present time, the Linux kernel receives heavy sponsorship from multiple large corporations, such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, AMD, Oracle, SGI (formerly Silicon Graphics), and these days, even Microsoft. The GNU Project in and of itself is separate from that, and is funded by the Free Software Foundation ─ also founded by Richard Stallman ─ which itself survives off of membership donations, lectures and organizing symposiums on software freedom.
The GNU/Linux distributions on the other hand all survive off of their own strategies. Some (like Canonical, which produces Ubuntu) work together with hardware vendors, others (like RedHat, SUSE and Oracle) only offer their operating system in combination with a paid support contract, yet others get their money from donations, and so on.
