The first Avatar blew my mind when I saw it in a movie theater in 3D. Any fans of the movie here?

I've watched the original several times on DVD and TV, and I have it here on my computer.

I place it among one of the great 'next steps' in movie technology. It was stunning! My daughter claimed to not like it ... she was much younger and had not glommed on to sci-fi yet. She's a fanatical Marvel Universe fan.

My brother just said that he was showing the movie in the weekend to his daughters for the first time, they're almost 11 and 9 years old. I was wondering if they're too young to see it as it has some violence. The younger one said that the first hour was boring I don't know what they thought about the rest of it. It's basically Dancing With Wolves combined with space Smurfs. It has a good spiritual message.

This series is continuing, at least it has a good soundtrack. I actually bought it on vinyl too.
The first season was great, second was decent and third one just straight up crap.

bummer, the 1st season was interesting...I lost track of it after that.

It might be a little intense but not to make it not watchable I don't think and I'm pretty conservative about movie watching.

I watched this last night because Gio mentioned it on one of his threads. Typical Michael Myers, I think he has an anal fetish. Some funny stuff.

I loved Avatar. It was amazing. We watched it again fairly recently and it was still awesome. I'm very excited for the next one. Lots of water action. And it's a love story. That will give it the emotional foundation.

That's funny about your daughter, Chuckie. Those superhero movies are pretty sci fi and fantasy as well. Just a different sort.

she doesn't read comic books but never fails to gift some vintage stuff. Talk about a trip down memory lane.

I'd seen this before. Time travel, a detective that tracks a killer for over 27 years. His target was moving backward in time. Dexter is in it. Conspiracy theory and attempts to stop a right wing militant supremacists. It packed a whole lot into the movie. A huge twist at the end.

I thought the scientist was a charming and engaging character but, of course, devilishly sinister. I'm a very uninterested AI movie fan and my manager at work recommended that I watch it. It was surprisingly good.
