Well yeah, Pitt is great too of course. Why would you have walked out of that movie? I've never seen it, but I've wanted to. Seen only clips of Troy and sadly it seems to have been one of the last worthy epic historical movies that Hollywood has produced besides the Kingdom of Heaven, that was over 15 years ago.

it seems Robin Givens had a 'purported' affair with Brad Pitt when she was married to Mike Tyson ...

I just never respected Pitt as an actor, particularly as a male 'tough guy' ... He changed my impression of him big time in that movie. Everybody has their tastes, but I always had a bit of a fascination with Achilles, the man, the myth, the legend. In truth, it is the reason I've never liked Orlando Bloom. It may be silly, but he brought down Achilles ... no, frickin' way.

Right up your alley Wind, A Horror Western:

I watched it last night, I was thinking that it was an old movie after it started but it wasn't, it was made in 2020.

Loosely, very loosely fashioned on this group (in a sorta fashion) - Kansas based gang from the 19th century

No horror for me anymore, thanks. Since you seem to like it, have you seen the Bone Tomahawk? I draw the line in fantasy these days, even though Sleepy Hollow is one my favorite movies. Have you ever seen Pan's Labyrinth? I intend to watch it soon.

    FORBIDDEN PLANET

This movie was shot in 1956, and it was the first movie ever with an entirely electronic music score. It's a pretty interesting story, the acting is good, and the special effects were outstanding for the time.

yeah, anne francis too (If i remember correctly) oh yeah and Earl Holliman, I never liked him at all, but he was at least entertaining in this flick ... he was a drunken sailor ...

This movie is on my list of groundbreaking movies, it was phenomenal for 1956, the others are King Kong 1933, Star Wars 1977 (i think), Jurassic Park, Avatar (the next Avatar is supposed to be another groundbreaker). Robby the Robot made some appearances on the original Lost in Space, presenting major threats to the addlepated bumbling bucket of bolts.

yeah, I saw Pan's Labyrinth, it was a little too highbrow for my horror tastes, but it was very well done and entertaining.

The series was cancelled but it seems a big finale is planned for some time in the future:

I saw Pan's Labyrinth. I liked it but I won't watch it again. There were some very disturbing scenes. Good movie overall.

This series of movies is a reasonable analog to "Hellier"

I think I have seen "Bone Tomahawk" ... but I don't remember how it ends ... I might have fallen asleep or my hacked movie watching might have failed.

I might be Howard Hughes for an evening and watch it again.

Have you seen it wind? There is really only one horrific scene. When the Troglodytes butcher 'Nick', the sheriff's deputy. Gawd that was ugly. My TV told me that I had already watched it but I didn't remember it ... I think I must have had an alien encounter the 1st time.

    Try this on for size...
