Contagion (BBC4 Documentary)

DESCRIPTION

In this BBC4 documentary, presenter and mathematician Dr. Hannah Fry engages in a live-action role-playing game, in which Hannah herself assumes the role of a traveler who has just returned from an overseas trip while unknowingly carrying a contagious virus. With the help of 10'000 volunteers with a special tracking application on their smartphones, she demonstrates how quickly the virus could spread within the UK.

This documentary regarding the science and mathematics of a pandemic was published in 2018, and thus before the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. Members Aianawa, Amanda and other pandemic deniers, please pay attention.
