    Carpo's corner

Carpo (Josh) is a guy in his 40's from Portland Oregon in USA. He's a carpenter. He makes a lot of videos.

I've been listening to him for years. He talks about all kinds of things; life, philosophy, spirituality, conspiracies, music, psychedelics... Lately politics quite a lot too. For me it's always nice to get a rational and empathic American take on things.

I don't agree with him about everything of course, because as people we tend to have different views always based on our personal preferences and experiences. Yet I like his views a lot. Why? I suppose I tend to be more of a hippy myself too so his views can be close to mine. Doesn't matter if you're American, European or whatever. Common sense is still common sense.

Weirdly, I first listened to him when he had shaved his beard. He made a comment about it. I went back through his channel to see him with his beard. And now he's grown it back. I imagine he'll shave it again as he said he occasionally does.

Yeah and he's had short hair before too, now he looks like a full blown hippie again. I like that look though.

Oh great. I will watch Carpo tonight. I almost made the mistake of watching the following video at night. Thankfully I waited until the next day! I am still afraid of the dark sometimes...with darn good reason!

I don't want to get too off topic...I had to work hard to not be afraid of the dark. I rarely am now.

I freaked myself out once at night having a Stephen King movie on the TV and a Stephen King book in my hand. Don't ever double whammy yourself that way.

I'd like to go to Portland. I've been to Washington but not Oregon. And also Northern CA. It's all beautiful country.

In one of his videos Josh goes out into his own woodlands with his family on their school bus and he examines some plants and the landscape. It's lush and lovely.

Oh yeah, seriously off topic. I started that!

Portland is a beautiful city and totally hippyville. Have you seen, "Portlandia?"

It took me a very long time to get rid of my fear of darkness, I think I had it for a good reason too.

Here's Carpo's latest video. If you like Trump you might get triggered.

I'm gonna guess Carpo is not afraid of the dark.

I used to have dreams about having to go into dark rooms. It was really scary but I'd do it. Also, lights wouldn't turn on or bulbs would give no illumination and I'd have to go across the room to another lamp.

Eventually it wasn't a problem and those dreams don't come anymore.

I've taken to checking in regularly with Carpo to see what's on his mind. I very much enjoy folks who express themselves honestly and actually look at facts and reality rather than speculation and emotionalism.

What is this ''shaved his beard'' that you heretics speak of?

It's a humiliating ritual, performed on males who have been enslaved into conformity by their mother-in-law horrible witches from Mordor.

Well he has made videos called Carpo in the dark, so I guess not!

I've had those kind of nightmares too and thankfully they stopped!

It's like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. If you run fast enough to outrun them, the beard catches fire through friction so they win again in the end.
    Have a great day today
