    Hi Cearna,

That's a really interesting story you tell. Sad, of course with all the tragedy and emotional invalidation. Invalidating thoughts and behaviors would be such a small thing to fix but it would have such profound benefits... Talk about useless... That should be the human meme. I'm thinking now that is why so many are obsessed with status, money, possessions...to escape that seemingly inescapable sense of the useless.

So what was decided on the time of birth, Aianawa?

Its a dreadful thing to put any limits on anyone, such as this, I was so afraid that if I tried to do something and failed, then their story might be prooved correct. I developed a real knack for never trying it out. One of my teacher's took me aside at sport and asked me to really try for her, and I went up 16 places in my A class. My inspector in my 3rd year of teaching said I must do a

degree, but at that time there was none in my subject.

They gave us a chance to do an advanced course in my own subjects, which they wouldn't promise would get us anywhere. Our very first lecture they told us that only one third of our class of 10 would pass in the end. Who does that to you when most of the class were head teacher's of our subjects. We did sociology ( groups, logic and anthropology) and I was transferred to 3 different schools for the rest of the year ( in my Saturn return). So I missed most of the year's lectures, and had to learn all the subjects on my own and do the exams the next year .I was allowed to continue on to the Home Science with the rest (we did advanced Nutrition, food technology and another topic) the following year doing Advanced Textiles. I was absolutely terrified of failing, so I studied like I had never known what study was in my life before.

I was one of the 3 out of the 10 to pass every exam. That gave me what is called here 4 years training status, but they never did call it a degree, because the men in our Universities didn't believe we deserved to have a degree as a possibility to us. Later, when I went to the Correspondence School to teach, my head teacher was one of that class, and she had failed, and ended up going to London to get a degree in Nutrition.

Later, I wanted to learn to dance to get self esteem, and because the following year I was going on the Galileo (the ship), from Sydney to Naples, and I wanted to enjoy myself. There was an all Australian competition for all Fred Astaire studios here, so I decided to try it, figuring if I could dance in a competition like that, it had to help with self esteem.

My teacher however decided it was a waste of money to go in as a beginner, and put me in the Open section instead. This meant instead of bronze level, with the simpler steps, I had to learn silver and gold level steps which take up to 9 years to learn. I ONLY did the waltz, but it took me months of four hours a night of practice to get there. He warned me this was the only way to get there. My fear of being useless was so bad.

But, when I found a group of psychics, who kept trying to find out What I Was, I finally came home, I'd found my home, my Kind of people, so guess what I changed character and personality, almost a 360 degree turn around, which also doesn't fit the profile you thought. I moved away from Sydney to the country.

It's hard to find my Kind in a rural city, lonely too, mention Astrology, numerology, rebirthing, bioenegetics, homeopathy, healing and others and a blank glaze over takes place, we don't believe in those, a bit like many on TOT, oh well, it's just not easy to find enough weirdos.

Weirdos are all I've known in my life, Cearna...the ones that weren't were just too 'sane' for me...

well, as I hate being wrong, I'll do a little dance twist here ... I would say that you haven't changed a bit, you just found the place where you had always been.

Weirdos tend to find me. Sooner or later they recognize a kindred soul and reach out. Hanging out at Renaissance festivals helps.

    Here's an NDE poem:

    HEAVEN SENT

I felt myself floating, being drawn by a light,
Around me was darkness whilst ahead it was bright.

I heard Nana call me then saw her smiling face,
I reached out my arms so that we could embrace.

I was led to a garden so hued and serene,
A place more wholesome than Earth had been.

An assembly of angels were poised up above,
their auras shimmered with celestial love.

I fell deep into thought as the angels drew near,
"So what is this place and why am I here?"

A voice from The Light whispered kindly and mild,
"There's nothing to fear, you've come home my Child."

What are you saying, it must mean a lot and I'd like to know what it. My mind works in a rather obtuse way, more used to what you see is what you get, but do want to understand your finer self.

Not being facetious, Cearna...Art and poetry are meant to be in the eye of the beholder. That is a bit of the finer Aianawa.

In lieu of mixing metaphors, Aianawa, imo, likes to mix spells and poems.
