I know this is preaching to the choir, but just in case anyone wondered... The video is only a few minutes, by the way.

    From NIH:

As a person clears and recovers from a typical respiratory infection, such as the flu, the lung repairs the damage. But in severe COVID-19, both studies suggest this isn’t always possible. Not only does SARS-CoV-2 destroy cells within air sacs, called alveoli, that are essential for the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide, but the unchecked inflammation apparently also impairs remaining cells from repairing the damage. In fact, the lungs’ regenerative cells are suspended in a kind of reparative limbo, unable to complete the last steps needed to replace healthy alveolar tissue.

In both studies, the lung tissue also contained an unusually large number of fibroblast cells. Izar’s team went a step further to show increased numbers of a specific type of pathological fibroblast, which likely drives the rapid lung scarring (pulmonary fibrosis) seen in severe COVID-19. The findings point to specific fibroblast proteins that may serve as drug targets to block deleterious effects.
    A comment (not me):

A musical mentor of mine enjoyed Thanksgiving with all of the trimmings, seemingly fine.

60 hours later he was dead.

    He barely even coughed.

Above is a Lex Fridman video with an evolutionary micro biologist. It's worth watching.

Below is a comprehensive article on the history of Mrna vaccines, from Nature mag. Nearly all of the scare stories about the vaccine originate with Robert Monroe. This article, in Nature, will provide an explanation as to why he is damning it, imo. He was cut out of the profit stream well before it was commercialized.

The reasons are murky and he may have every right to be bitter. But, that doesn't reduce his burden of guilt for what looks like a revenge play against those who may or may not have done a backroom deal. It doesn't change the nature of the vaccine or its success.

I saw this channel being recommended, the info seems to be good.

Omicron infection also produced immunity against Delta. This means someone who has been infected with delta is largely immune to subsequent delta infection. Therefore delta will soon have no one to infect, therefore will go away.

    Happy New Year.

I think you mean Dr Robert Malone.

I'm seeing attempts by MM to discredit him as a researcher, but at least that nature article is somewhat balanced.

He really was the co-inventor of mRNA technology, no doubt about it and he's very critical of its use for the purposes of vaccination. mRNA gene therapies have massive potential in treating cancer and curing aids, but as vaccinations go, there are far better and safer methods out there, such as protein-based or inactivated virus vaccines. When one of the inventors of a technology tells us it isn't safe for its intended use, I think we should listen. MM efforts to discredit him and his work have fallen flat as he is a credentialed and well-regarded research scientist.

He's another doctor who is critical of the current emphasis on vaccinating everyone at all costs, along with Dr Chris Martenson. As with Robert Malone, there is a serious effort from MM (in other word, big pharma), to discredit them.

Yeah, but it's funny, because there is a grain of truth in it.

Some sane advice from Bill Maher about how we should really have handled the pandemic and how "the science" as promoted by the establishment is not quite what it's cracked up to be.

Herpes was projected to be 99% population prolific. Scare tactic? Perhaps, but it didn't happen? Is it because people were scared? Being scared is a choice. So is wise action after fair warning! Anyone citing Pat Robertson has a dubious slant.

    He's a faggot!

I'm pretty sure that I first heard of coronavirus being found in waste water from Gio.

Wastewater-based epidemiology has proven to be so reliable in dozens of pilot projects across the US that the government has invested millions to create the National Wastewater Surveillance System, or NWSS, a network of 400 testing sites spread across 19 states that is coordinated by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Boehm's SCAN is part of that network, which has been quietly operating behind the scenes, generating data for public health departments across the country, since September 2020. For the first time, the CDC has published data that looks at how much coronavirus is turning up in the country's wastewater. It added this testing data to its Covid-19 dashboard.
I have linked to the CDC's COVID Data Tracker where you can find maps and charts tracking cases, deaths, and trends of COVID-19 in the United States, updated daily by 8 pm ET

We had a leader who said there's a word he just loves. Misinformation. He loves it. And it has dire consequences.

The Herman Cain awards reddit is chronicling those who have been in denial and who have subsequently died, often in terrible and drawn out fashion. This individual did not deny the reality of the virus, but let the misinformation lead him away from what could have helped him.

The poor sap. So deep into Newsmax and QAnon, he never stood a chance.

Remember: This one didn’t deny COVID-19 or its danger. He just refused to do anything about it. He wouldn’t even wear a mask, so you can’t even blame it on religious-based Mark of the Beast nonsense. He was opposed to all efforts to defeat a disease he freely admitted was deadly and killing millions. Simply unfathomable.

Also speaks to all the ways the anti-vaxx movement has gotten its claws into people. Some are roped in by religion—fetal lines or the Mark of the Beast—others by fears of 5G or chemtrails, some just don’t want the government “telling them what to do,” and others are afraid of scary-sounding vaccine ingredients. There are the ones that think it’s a global elite trying to “force” people into “compliance,” while others think it’s a plot by dastardly China to destroy our economy. Or maybe it was a plot to deny Trump his rightful reelection. Some think it’s a hoax, others believe it’s just the flu, while others admit it’s real, just won’t do anything about it. Some wouldn’t take the vaccine because it didn’t have FDA authorization, others think it’s been “rushed” now that it has been, and yet others think the vaccine is literally killing millions and even billions of people. Then, somehow, you have to fit in the “vitamins and supplements” crowd, the hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin proponents, the “Big Pharma is making lots of money off me” crowd (as they buy boner pills), and the “hospitals make big money from killing COVID patients” people.

This chaos is a huge advantage for the conspiracy theorists—they can create any number of narratives that fit into any number of people’s preconceived biases. A single story to explain it all would fall apart under the weight of evidence. But 1,000 theories? It’s impossible for anyone to systematically undermine all of the shit that’s being flung against the wall.
