Sorry to hear that you're sick, I hope you'll recover soon!

I have also been suffering from Gastrointestinal issues for a few months now, though mine are food-allergy related. Nevertheless, it can make life pretty difficult.

During particularly bad bouts I used healing affirmations to provide relief and they did help, perhaps something to consider.

Also, Active Carbon tablets help lessen the symptoms, as does Manuka Honey, which really is a pretty amazing miracle cure for all sorts of inflammatory conditions and even infections. Very expensive though.

Here's the problem: The pass is granted because Trump uses the name to vilify a race...it's that simple. Here's another situation, the New York virus would be called the European virus.

The Spanish flu is called the Spanish flu because no one else would accept responsibility...history goes on...COVID-19 is called COVID-19 because of Trump...which is scary because it shows the sickening influence of that disturbed bastard.

Not as far as I know. He has a reputation for being a bit of a playboy and being into black chicks. But he never got married and refuses to have children, that may have sparked the rumours.

Yes, I have the virus. I'm in quarantine right now. My doctor says a week should do. I do feel that I would be on the mend, though.

So, I was wondering how long people can keep up the Coronavirus Denialism?

I personally know several people now who have Covid-19, some are offline, others online contacts. The connecting tissue seems to be that not many of them have been officially diagnosed with the disease, people are just generally told to self-isolate and ride it out themselves, unless things get so bad, that they need hospitalisation. This tells me two things:

A, the number of cases is far-far higher than officially reported, by orders of magnitude probably. So we already have millions of cases worldwide, possibly a lot more than that

B, the death rate is actually not as high as the official numbers would indicate, which is now closing in on 10 percent worldwide, the same as Sars-1. In reality we probably have only a 1 percent or less death rate worldwide, which whilst worse than the seasonal flu, is actually not THAT bad.

This tells me that whilst the Quarantine measures were necessary initially to "flatten the curve" and slow the spread of the disease, it is probably time to lift at least some of the restrictions, because, quite frankly, we cannot afford to keep large parts of the economy in shutdown. Neighbouring Austria is now lifting some restrictions, gradually, so that people, at least in key industries, can go back to work, with the appropriate precautions in place.

It will probably be many months until things can go back to "normal", more or less, but frankly, this massive economic crisis we have created for ourselves is in nobody's interest. Some things will change permanently though.

- It will probably be 2021 until we have anything resembling a normal "tourist season". Most travel and tourism companies will go bust.
- Most airlines will probably go bust too and the stronger ones, such as Ryanair and Wizzair will take over most of their routes (this is in the EU context)
- The EU is toast. It has proven utterly incompetent and useless in this crisis. It has done nothing, but hinder the urgent national response measures that were needed, such as sealing borders shut. It has been no help at all, in any area I can think of. People all over Europe will start wondering why they're sending 1 percent of their GDP to this organisation, when it does absolutely nothing in a crisis, except get in the way of national governments at the most inopportune times.
- Globalism is dead. All Globalist institution and corporations proved utterly useless and incompetent in this crisis. Only national and in some cases (looking at you, US of A and Germany) regional and state governments were able to handle things with any level of competence and efficiency.
- Following from the previous point, Globalisation is dead. The next decade will be about re-offshoring all the stuff that we need for our own national needs from the other side of the world. All the critical stuff we need, will have to be made closer to home, that much is clear
- Oil is dead. It turns out, we don't actually need that much of it once everyone stops driving pointlessly around. Most office work can be done remotely now and it turns out that most of the service industry is actually superfluous. I don't think that careers in the services sector will ever be seen as secure, long-term employment again. We can also probably wave goodbye to the gig economy too. Many countries will experiment with introducing Universal Basic Income. Most jobs are Bullshit Jobs anyway and can be safely done away with.
- On the other hand, providing the basic necessities of life, food and shelter mostly, will become top priority again and many will move into these areas from former service jobs.
