He would do everything to make him not look like his father anymore. His whitened skin color however was in part due to a skin condition ─ which later evolved into skin cancer ─ and due to the makeup he wore for masking the whiter and darker areas of his skin.

Michael Jackson was eccentric in many ways, but he was not a pedophile. He was a naive little boy in the body of a grown man, and he was taken advantage of big time because he happened to be very rich.

Amen to all of that...I want to defend MJ too!

Maher talks about culture. And the libs. But he fails to mention that the political Democrats aren't leading that cultural wave. It's societal. The only reason Democrats even supported gay marriage was because of the huge number of people who wanted it.

It was never a political plan. It's a culture thing.

People like to pretend that the politicians are responsible for the cultural changes. They're always behind the change. They're always reacting to the change.

Maher himself has pointed out the reactionary nature of politicians. But he doesn't make this distinction in his rants.

Which is fine. He's not a political leader. He's a comic and an entertainer. Not a leader.

I love both that Gotye song and that video. He's a really interesting musician. I love the whole record he put out with this song. I've posted videos before.
