    idiot software developers... The analysts were examining 'metadata' handed to them by the algorithms developed by software infrastructure. So far, he hasn't mentioned that which might not be surprising as he was the Primary architect of the system.


    yes, that is what is necessity in the tradeoff between 'safety and freedom'. Lawful restrictions. It sounds as if Obama fell short in a proper legistlative approach to solving the problem.

    If the timestamp issue indicated an inside job, I would suspect that the Clinton campaign would have started a serious internal investigation...surely they wouldn't be that clueless. The NSA would not be open to disclosing any technical information or techniques they had regarding data transmission.
