Self control emotionalllly can be difficult, especially when self absorbed and reactions are coming back from ones created ripples, being oblivious one may desire emotional nappies or some such if unable to hear or listen or feel.

That wasn't really an apology.. Just another asinine remark
I'm afraid I have to agree, NotAPretender. Just because you think it's justified to make fun of the state you're in ─ and such is your prerogative ─ doesn't mean that your words cannot offend or injure other people. What you find justified or okay doesn't necessarily correspond to what someone else finds justified or okay.

If we're here to try and make the world a better place, then the first thing we should do is make sure that we're not needlessly offending anyone. Kindness and respect are the way to go, and especially for someone who considers himself progressive. And yet all you're doing is pour more fuel onto the fire.

Not cool, man. Not cool at all. And not quite what I've come to expect from you either, because I know you better than that.

I guess I'm failing as a human being...I'm not any bigger on states than I am on the United States...

Sammy, you, and everyone else will just have to recognize that I'm not perfect after all. What should I do? The only real way to apologize at this point is to go back in time to before I made the post. I think it is a little late for that.

Believe it or not, I tried to apologize...I thought I was doing it. Those remarks happen to be the way I think about it...and I would agree with Aianawa on this one...it is the result of 'very deep programming'.

I apologize to Sammy for ruining his fun...I really regret doing that. If it is that bad of a situation, I am sincere in saying give me a few weeks off or permanently if you so wish and give it time to let Sammy get me out of his system. There is literally nothing else that I can do but make it worse. I'll just say one thing and then drop it period. The Mexican Border, 12 year old dead kids and Texas Rangers. My adoptive father, a drowned twin at age 7. I guess we have finally hit that spot that people have searched for...my place where the rubber meets the road.

A biggest aha for me was acknowledging fear of losing love.

...only a month back and I am already having to clean up a few messes - mostly if not wholly of my own creation...

starting with an edit to this post here.
All the above is all and only my opinion. It may contain some sharing of components of my current operating strategy and some foundational components of my current world view - all subject to change and not meant to be true for anyone else regardless of how I phrase it.

    Life is messy.

You try very hard to be clear, Sammy. I think you do a good job.

It's pretty much impossible to get people to interpret words just as you mean them.

People think that if we write things down, then they'll last and they won't be changed.

But people change. And then writings from centuries ago become difficult to understand. And then we have to have interpreters and translators and then things become more messy.

I think the oral cultures have a better idea. As the stories are told, the culture is able to adjust as that culture's ways of expression change. And that always happens.

I'm glad to have you back, Sammy, and even more glad you're out of a project that you didn't feel good about.

Unfortunately, people are just as prone to cultish behavior as ever.

    Humans.

Is good to have a diary DT, especialllly to be able to see one's own changes over time, atm we are seeing the media and political collusion regards Russiagate, not pretty.

Russell gives his take here and sure each will have their own take regards data coming out atm.
