TV episode from the 1960s predicts the rise and fall of Trump

This TV episode is unbelievable. A fraudster and snake-oil snakesman arrives in a sleepy Texas town. His name is Trump. He predicts the world will end, unless the townspeople give him money so he can build a magical wall that will save them. The local Sheriff is trying to stop Trump and his stupid wall...

    Great find Chris!
Whatever is true. Whatever is noble. Whatever is right. Whatever is lovely. Whatever is admirable. Anything of excellence and worthy of praise. Dwell on these things. Jesus Christ (I agree)

It's pretty unbelievable isn't it? I read about this before, but now they've uploaded the whole episode to youtube. Some of the Dialogue could have come straight out of the Muller Investigation. The parallels with current events are just too uncanny.

Holy Twilight Zone + Gunsmoke. Those old westerns weren't always empty headed. Nor were the Texas Rangers always so elevated.

U2 used this episode in their Joshua Tree tour. That’s where my husband and I first saw it. I’m not sure why the media is so clueless about that fact. I haven’t seen it mentioned once.
