As many (or some?) of you will know by now, Facebook is one of the companies that suffered a serious data breach recently, in which the personal data of more than 30 million people was stolen. If your data was stolen, it will tell you just how much of your personal information is now up for sale on the Dark Web — because that's what these data breaches are all about.
Facebook itself claims that no credit card data was stolen, but that doesn't mean that your email address, home address, telephone number(s) or information relating to your private life, loved ones and family members would not have been misappropriated.
