Could be your cookies settings, or a misbehaving ad blocker. Or maybe it really is your mind.

hmmm, maybe it is like seeing God ... one goes blind ... that's weird though ... I hate to reset cookies because I have a LOT of information embedded there. Another dilemma I reckon. Hey maybe that's the clue ... reset ... to reset or not to reset ... Now i'm inclined to reset. Is there anything unusual about your post ... as in source?

I don't think so, but you don't have to delete cookies. I was rather thinking of settings with regard to allowing cookies.

No need for that. Just reload the page and clear your cache ─ Ctrl+F5 should do the trick. If it doesn't work, then here's the raw link to the image.

yeah, I upped the security settings after I got hacked ... it just seems odd that it would act this way. I never saw Aianawa's Buffalo soldier posts ... I commented on the empty posts.

I'll try what you are suggesting... ... it's the cache that I meant ... that would be the 1st step ... I'll try it.

So clearing the cache isn't the same as clearing browser history? I tried ctrl F5 didn't seem to work

No, it's not the same thing. Clearing the cache forces your browser to reload the entire page, as opposed to showing you the elements of the page that are already in the cache. But you can clear your browsing history without deleting your cookies. How you do this is of course dependent on your browser.

I refreshed the cache as Aragorn suggested, i've been debating all day whether or not I should delete history. How often do you do that, Wind? I use Chrome.

Earlier I mentioned cookies. I don't get rid of history because I prefer to leave them embedded, so I don't have to remember credential info for different sites.

I never fully delete my history, but sometimes I've had to clear the cache and delete cookies. Sad that I can't eat them though.

I delete my history and cache almost every day, but I do not delete cookies or active logins. Deleting the history does not affect logins.

• In Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+Del ─ if the keyboard shortcut doesn't work, click the three vertical dots on the right in the toolbar, select "More tools" and then "Clear browsing history" ─ and then click on the Advanced tab. Select "browsing history", "download history" and "cache", but leave everything else unmarked. Then click on Apply.

• In Firefox, click the History menu ─ press Alt if you do not see a menu ─ and then choose "Clear browsing history". Make sure that "active logins" and "cookies" are not checked, and that you set a time range ─ I usually set that to "Everything".
