After a tiring day, a commuter settled down in her seat and closed her eyes.
As the train rolled out of the station, the guy sitting next to her pulled out his cell phone and started talking in a loud voice:"Hi sweetheart. It’s Eric. I'm on the train. Yes, I know it's the six thirty and not four thirty, but I had a long meeting.
No, honey, not with that blonde from the accounts office.
It was with the boss.
No sweetheart, you're the only one in my life.
Yes, I'm sure, cross my heart."
Fifteen minutes later, he was still talking loudly.
The young woman sitting next to him had enough and she leaned over and said into the phone,
"Eric, hang up the phone and come back to bed."
Eric doesn't use his cell phone in public any longer.

I hope no one interprets my post as snipe, it wasn't intended as that, it just seemed appropriate. I love Europeans ... especially when I'm in the bathroom, NYUK! NYUK!, NYUK! Seriously, I think all Americans think Europeans are cool, with the possible exception of right-wingers, who particularly hate the French, which I have always found offputting... but, of course, they are going away to never never land.

And that was even before I found out I was 5% French. Has anyone besides myself wondered how I could have so damn many ethnicities. One person said, it's obvious my ancestors took a long trip through Europe.

I've just read this joke in a Hungarian magazine and I've got to share it here.
Putin is given a day off from Hell and decides to return to Moscow. He goes into a bar, orders a vodka and asks the bartender:
