That's hilarious! Names can indeed be strange. Like: Miss Ura Anderson who married Mr. Belcher. It's actually true. (Say your name and run!)

In Norway we have names like: Odd and Even. All is well if they stay away from English speaking countries.

Nothing beats Thai names...

Porn is actually a popular girl's name in Thailand and is used in various combinations.

In the Bangkok branch of the travel company I used to work for, we had Pornkamon, Tittiporn and Anyapornsuk.

You had to keep a straight face whenever talking to them or just referring to them, which was damned hard...

If I wanted to laugh my head off, I just read the incoming guest lists for Thai tour groups. There were hundreds of similar gems in there and they provided hours of entertainment...
