sure, Aianawa, I have all of those and more...most importantly, the more. Reality is reality...I've said it before...whether we like it or not...reality is a consensus. We can perceive beyond it sometimes but sometimes what 'resonates' is not good because we ourselves are 'vibrating' at the wrong frequency. That is when it is essential that we look to consensus for validation.

So you assume that flat Earth is scary? Well it isn't scary to me, but it is untrue in my reality according to my own observation. My deduction is based on empirical evidence, Vern.

I've sailed around the world on a ship for a whole year...and I've seen how another ship will suddenly appear on the horizon...really big...much bigger than a dot (which it should be if the flat Earthers are right). I have flown on a plane from east to west, seeing sunset after sunset after sunset...all along. I've personally checked the rotation of water sinking in a bathtub, both on the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. It follows "the rotation of the sun", which is how we see it, i.e., on the northern hemisphere it's clockwise and on the southern it's anticlockwise.

I looked through the flat Earthers explaining why once. I gave them plenty of time to explain it to me...I read through documents after documents where they said they would explain the rotation of the water in the tap. When finally it was time to "come clean" on the subject...they said..."It didn't matter anyway". So that was the time I made up my mind...and believe me: IT IS MY MIND. I've seen it for myself, hey?

That's the best sort of empirical evidence, Elen. The kind you yourself gather.

It's a common tactic to attribute emotions like fear to folks. It makes it easier to dismiss their opinions. One doesn't have to think or analyze that way. Just throw out labels and keep on trucking'.

Roundy. Still a term that's cute and funny to me. I'd never thought of labelling myself re the earth's shape. And as for alternative theories, my fav is still Hollow, though I'd lean towards large caverns, not a sun inside. There's a lot of phosphorescence and senses can evolve. But we top-siders might have trouble with gases and such.
