Ever hear what happened when a team of anthropologists taught an ape tribe how to use cash? Harald Kautz-Vella mentions it.
The anthro's were so horrified at what it did, inside a few weeks, to the tribe's cohesion [the males began to steal and betray, the females to prostitute themselves] that they tried to stop the game, take the cash away...
"Bad Idea! The apes Beat Them Up!"
Money is a sickness, a black-magic game with only one end.
The spectre of Economic Collapse is the projected image of the bankers' fears of discovery and disempowerment, I think.
We really need the whole money-and-power game to end, to be replaced with something much more honourable.

I am poor as dirt right now, but when I do something for other people, then I will still not ask them for anything in return. If you do something for someone else on the premise that they have to give you something in return, then whatever it is that you're doing for them, you won't be doing it from the heart, and therefore, you won't be doing it right.
That's why the quality we get in whatever goods we buy and in whatever services we pay for is so low. They're not doing it from the heart, but from the objective of receiving money for what they do. The focus isn't on quality and perfection, but on gain and profit. It's a halfhearted or even coldhearted exchange.
I believe in doing things from the heart, with commitment to quality and service. And if we were all to start doing that, instead of doing things for money, and instead of giving as little as possible in order to receive as much as possible, then this world would become a much, much nicer place to live in.
Alas, mankind isn't there yet. Not even by a long shot. And at 55 years old, I don't even see this happening during my lifetime anymore.
