    the planet Vulcan...
Vulcan was not located in Earth's solar system. In fact, it would be more along the direction of the Beta Quadrant, because that's where the Vulcan offshoot settled down who would later on become the Romulans.

In addition to that, Vulcan only gets destroyed in the J.J. Abrams reboot. It was still intact on the original timeline. As were Romulus and Remus, for that matter.

no really, Vulcan...i'm thinking to remember the ancients and more recent scientists dubbed it 'Vulcan'...i'm thinking.

it appears it was proposed as a planet, planetoid, asteroid belt in the vicinity of Mercury's orbit...not mars and jupiter...close, but no Cigar...Though I really believe someone suggesting naming the Mars-Jupiter belt the remnants of 'Vulcan'

This might be why I conflated the two...just speculating, of course...been years when I would have been thinking about this...

"For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that in 1929 psychic Geoffrey Hodson (of the Adyar Theosophical Society) claimed he had ‘seen’ two planets not visible to usual sight. The first one (Vulcan) revolves within the orbit of Mercury, and radiates or reflects only deep infrared radiation, which is why it is generally invisible. The other one is normally in the inner part of the asteroid belt just beyond Mars and is ‘etheric’ or plasmic. According to Hodson’s colleague George Sutcliffe, Vulcan has a mean period of 25.2883 days. Hodson also saw two planets beyond Neptune, but neither of them turned out to be Pluto."

"Phaeton" is the remnant planet of the Asteroid Belt but it is considered 'mythical' not an actual remnant.

This one is from yesterday. At one minute in he talks about the coronal hole and the horse being in the south.

The coronal hole looks like a horse, legs and all.

The bot doesn't downgrade anything. It's a simple RSS feed. It pulls in the information as published at the source — i.e. emsc-csem.org — and posts it here at the forum.
