...LOL, BTW if I had to live in Scotland (I’m of Scottish extraction) I’d be drunk all the time, most likely.

...we simply must have sunny weather or I’d be listening more closely to the voices and realize my inner serial killer...

You are soooo right about the weather here in Scotland at the moment...it's a "mini-ice age" at the moment. We are expecting another set of snow shortly...

But is the weather the only thing that stops you?

Well, I don’t speak “Scottish” very well...

...actually, the GF would kill me in my sleep if we moved there...so yes, it is the weather.

I first saw Joanna Lumley as Purdey in "The New Avengers" in the 1970s, alongside Patrick Macnee (reprising his role as John Steed from the earlier "The Avengers" series) and Gareth Hunt (as Mike Gambit).

She also starred as the interdimensional operative Sapphire in the science-fiction fantasy series "Sapphire & Steel" alongside David McCallum (who played Steel).

Apart from the above, Joanna Lumley has also starred in many more series and movies, including the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", where she played one of Bond's opponent Blofeld's "angels of death".
