no, not at all...sorry about being unclear...if you haven't noticed... I've been working on that for years, not so successfully many times.

Overtime, I think you have a little more insight into 'my style' and are not so 'critical' toward me any longer. So, when I do reference you it is in friendship...no other reason. Another reason I cite people is to 'incite' them to join the conversation. I do agree with you more than you might think.

Maslow is cool...of course, he gets scrunched by critics...but as a framework for humans I think it is eminent.

Maslow is brilliant in his perception of human psychology. He does miss or omit the role that religions and nation/states play in both exploiting these 'dark forces' and even fertilizing the soil. I think it was an omission of self-preservation. I can empathize with him and acknowledge the quality of his work.

No worries. I think this thread should be renamed to something better because I don't want only to focus on the work of Jung, but also psychology and self-observation in general.

I've added some kiwiana too as per Aianawa's request.
A tiki I carved, and then after I didn't listen to instruction to gift to a homeless Maori man, lost it the very next day.
    The lost tiki.

Wind better get in here and take his thread back (sorry Wind)
This fascinates me. Where did the instruction come from to give this carving away?

I can relate because I have a hard time giving away things I make. I recently crocheted some dolls and they were so adorable. I gave them away as gifts and I really miss them. I guess I have to make more. I didn't even take pictures of them. Silly woman.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. That's a great story. Your tiki was/is beautiful. I hope it found its home.

The first time I heard about rocks having energy and consciousness it was hard for me to understand.

I've heard similar descriptions about the rock already containing the carving not yet done. I used to think it was the vision of the artist. It's more than that, eh?
