Seriously though...it does remind of 'experiencing the shadow'.

If one hasn't noticed I blame the 'authoritarian' for every problem in the world from 'car traffic' to 'war'...well, when I was in 5th grade I was elected class president by unanimous vote. (I should do the evil laugh here). At the time my father was President of a local organization and was into 'parliamentary procedure' and such and I used him as a model in my own role. The thing is I became a madman in a very short period of time. Overnight I turned into 'El Generalissimo' and sought to rule with an iron hand. I alienated literally everyone and by the end of my 'reign' I was 'persona non grata' and it was of my own doing. I learned a very important life's lesson then. Since, I have with intent stayed away from any role that would put me in a position of authority and sought to find ways of 'cooperation'. I run my life that way. So perhaps I encountered my shadow and dealt with it.

I often ask myself... "Am I a good person?" After a while I come to the conclusion that yes I am a good person and that I am striving for the good. I am honest, I don't wish to hurt others, instead I want to help in any way I can. I tend to be particularly harsh towards myself and I like to set the standards high especially for myself, nothing else will do than integrity. Of course that also applies to other people too, I can't have much respect for people who lack integrity even though I can empathize with almost anyone. Even when it comes to the sinners... I also realize that there's a lot darkness within all of us, within myself too. It can be scary to look at it, but it's important to understand it. That's how we can understand how criminals and the "elite" are able to do what they are doing. What is the opposite of empaths? Psychopaths who have been competely engulfed by their shadow and (inner & external) demons.

I am grateful to Jordan Peterson for bringing Jung's work back into the limelight.

Ok, I had a think on this, and now I’ll push back. Our programming makes us think that many essentially bad things are good. Take food, specifically eating animal products: eating a critter is not correct, but some of the best, and I was told at the time, healthiest food, was made with critters in it. It took me a while of self examination and a fair amount of reading to uncover this. Same for sugar, I love sugar, specifically chocolate. I had to go a year without any sugar, to come to grips with it.

This is what I’m getting to. The obvious negative things are easy, for the deeply hidden negative things; you must actively probe to find them.

Warning it is quite disturbingly violent.

Another copy, equally bad quality, if you can find a better copy, that would be advised!

More Jordan Peterson...he's a good solid speaker and he seems eminently sane!

You might be, perhaps you need to sort yourself out?

Note that I don't necessarily agree with Peterson's political views, but I do think that he is a brilliant philosopher and a psychologist. We all have our blind spots.

It might be because Nazis ARE behind every rock. The US is the 4th Reich as we sold out in the 50s. Poppy and W are deep Nazi Germans.

A brilliant movie that I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it. Also the sequel "What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted".

For a small country they make some amazing films!

lol...yours was Michael Tsarion, it was Dreamtimer that posted about Peterson. Her video was about PC...where I had to disagree with his perspective...but in the end I rejected his philosophical stance because he didn't seem to consider spiritual aspects of the topic in question. He does have a spiritual perspective it seems.

Wow...I do that to show respect for people that have posted. So they know I'm not ignoring them and actually thinking about the merits of their posts...It doesn't go in one symbolic ear and out the other....and anyway, you posted about it...so I responded.

Your giving too much away...now if I really want to fight back with you...all I have to do is do it. I consider you somewhat of a fellow spirit, and if I"m mistaken then you have taken the right step to straighten out my thinking...thank you!

no, I know Modwiz despises me on general principles...that's why I cite him sometimes. You, I think is on the other side of the coin but I do believe you had initial doubts about me and the 'gibberish' that I spout. Overtime, I think you have a little more insight into 'my style' and are not so 'critical' toward me any longer. So, when I do reference you it is in friendship...no other reason. Another reason I cite people is to 'incite' them to join the conversation. I do agree with you more than you might think.
