Ouch at the 7.5 earthquake that just happened in Pinotepa de Don Luis Mexico

    Bet you to it Botty.

Hope it is a miraculous miss.

Oh, Murphys Law that when I decide to post about it because the Bot hasn't, and sometimes doesn't for an hour, it does, right after posting.

Hahaha. It's the SuspiciousObservers phone app. Alerts direct to the phone. I just have it there to beep at me to maintain a bit of a survey of what's going on, the last 8 to weeks or so has been particularly busier than the period before then!
And yeah, it seems to be between 5 mins and 60 mins faster than Botty McShakeshake.

    Shake it baby!

Glad to hear you have the app. I don't actually, though I might when I get a new phone. I have family out west and it's good to know what's up out there.

I heard about an earthquake in Boston of all places. It was a low 3. We didn't feel anything here. We did feel the one that shook the obelisk in DC a few years back.

How typical for Acronymians to wave their willy and then blame it on an earthquake.

I was so dense when I was younger, as in teenager. When I went to Tunisia I couldn't believe how many obelisks there were all over. I hadn't really learned about the North African civilization and history. I didn't apply myself well to history classes. I thought I could look ahead without looking back. Forging anew. But we can't really escape our foundations and we need, collectively, to remember our history.

This is why oral cultures are so strong. (we display our daftness in my country every time we compare oral transmission to the kindergarten telephone game)
