I have often found money in dreams and it invariably turns into something out of the norm, like silver coins or valuable papers or just strange, rare looking coins. I often look for the person who might have lost it because I find it out and about somewhere in the dream. No one claims it.

It doesn't correspond with actually getting or finding money, although that has happened. It's more symbolic, I think. Like, valuables aren't money; money isn't what it seems; something of that sort.

Well, since we are on dreams...let's get weird...

I've had dreams where I have committed murder and also been falsely accused of 'unsolved murders'.

Remember the movie "No Country For Old Men". Years before that movie I had a dream that in more than a few ways paralleled the movie. While watching it, I was totally mesmerized.

I had a dream that my Dad was walking around and I was concerned because he can't anymore and I was afraid he would fall. He started doing a dance in the bathtub and then he did fall. But he only had a bruise.

He would love to dance again, no doubt. But that won't be happening.

There were owls hooting during the night. They were quite loud.

Not much scares me in dreams anymore. I spent some time thinking about that because it's kind of amazing to me.

I came to the realization that what scares me now is my own power, or potential power. I guess that's a good thing.

I understand that completely...Just accept it...it's a God given gift...think positive thoughts, though...that is paramount.

Can your dreams predict death? New research says yes.

Are precognitive dreams real? This dream researcher has compiled more than anyone in history.

When Andy Paquette left his job as a leading Hollywood film animator he had no idea he would wind up compiling the largest database of precognitive paranormal dreams in history, but that’s what happened.

I took a break from Alex. He's quite tolerable in this one, it may be because he's had this guest on before.

A couple of Christmas' ago, my brother and I were driving down the road and we stopped at a light adjacent to a cemetery. I turned to my brother and remarked that I had a dream the night before about a graveyard. He asked me if it was about anyone in particular and I responded, "No, we were just overlooking it". The next morning my brother and sister-in-law received a call about my stepmother having a mild heart attack. He was told not to worry because it was a very minor event but when I woke up, my sister-in-law told me my brother had torn off to drive the 100 miles to my dad and stepmother's home apparently in a panic. I thought that was very uncharacteristic of him but figured he was just trying to be supportive. My stepmother didn't recover and died a couple of months later.

My daughter had a hamster that I grew quite attached to (I know that sounds silly) but a few nights before it died I had a dream that my daughter and I were pushing an old cardboard type coffin down the sidewalk.

    I could go on....but nah...

    I'm feeling very emotionally fragile...

Because Jung is part of the discussion, I have chosen to post this here. It could perhaps go here as well.

Miguel Connor of Aeon Byte has Bernardo Kastrup and Robert Bonomo on as his guests.

Erik interviews his wife about her new book on Dreaming. I have not read the book yet, I just heard about it.

A conversation with my wife Jennifer Dumpert about collaborative dreaming, iPad skrying, meditation, play, the problem with interpretation, and her new bookLiminal Dreaming: Exploring Consciousness at the Edges of Sleep (North Atlantic).

    Daydreaming

Daydreaming can be in the liminal state. It's a creative state. Aimee Mullins talks about it in this address.

She also talks about constructive rule-breaking.

I had a dream last night (i think) that involved a sewing needle...yeah really. But it was a dream, so of course it was weird. It was a 'double' needle...A needle with two eyes and when I handled it, it split apart...A pretty ridiculous dream, huh. I was changing my bed sheets today and pulled a set out of my closet...As I was putting them on I noticed something that looked strange on the top sheet. It was a sewing needle that had been stuck to the sheet for I don't know how long....

Sometimes I think that I have these experiences and then unconciously fabricate a subconscious dream to fit the scenario. But that's not the way I remember it....
